Introdução à disciplina. História da nematologia. Nematóides do solo e de raiz. Fixação e montagem de amostras permanentes. Morfologia e classificação de nematóides. Identificação, biologia e patogenicidade de gêneros importantes de nematóides fitoparasitas. Parasitismo e ecologia de nematóides. Relação entre hospedeira e nematóide. Controle de nematóides de importância econômica.
