In this work, we present the result of the application of a didactic sequence for teaching Thermodynamics in high school with an emphasis on tackling juvenile obesity, using David Ausubel's learning theory as an educational foundation, embodied in Paulo Freire's liberating theory. In this respect, the paradidactic book “A termodinâmica e o marombeiro” was made, of its own authorship, to guide the subjects addressed, which, among other premises, works on the caloric deficit, the total energy expenditure, food education and the practice of physical activities such as pillars for weight loss. The educational product was applied in a third grade class of regular high school, in a private school in the city of Luziânia-GO.

Resumen Espectáculo
-
This work presents a didactic sequence built from the use of a historical case study in the investigative modality. The historical episode was the discovery of the electrical nature of lightning, carried out by Benjamin Franklin in the 18th century. The intention of the proposal is to encourage the discussion of aspects inherent to the nature of science and thus contribute to students building a less distorted view of scientific work. The use of investigative narrations allows the student to be placed in a simulation of scientific production faithful to reality and, with this, be able to reflect and internalize the aspects inherent to the scientist's practice. In addition, the sequence aims to introduce the concepts of electrical charge and electrical discharge under the context of the theme of lightning in storms and the functionality of lightning rods. The proposal also has experimental, practical and demonstrative activities, which seek to help students visualize and understand the phenomena, as well arouse interest in the subject addressed. The sequence in question was applied in two classes of the ninth grade of elementary school in a private school in the Federal District and obtained satisfactory results.

The photoelectric effect was discovered at the end of the 19th century by Hertz and explained by Albert Einstein in the beginning of the 20th century by adhering to Max Planck's ideas about the quantization of energy emitted by blackbody harmonic oscillators, marrying the experimental bias to the theoretical one. This phenomenon evidenced the corpuscular character of light and it is inserted in the beginnings of quantum physics, being necessary for an understanding of quantum physics within a historical line of physics. One of the great challenges of education in the 21st century is the recognition of the student's characteristics, which are inseparable from a society marked by hyperconnectivity and collective intelligence, which, according to Lévy (1999), constitutes the main engine of cyberculture. These individuals are called digital natives. This digital “bubble” influenced the characteristics of generation Z: the way they consume, behave, work and, mainly, how they relate and learn. This generation does not respond well to unilateral relationships and, consequently, to traditional teaching. A type of DICT (Digital Information and Communication Technology) that this present work indicates as a possible confrontation for mediation (adaptation of language between teachers and students of that generation), is a didactic sequence set in resources of a computational simulator, seeking the decentralization of the narrative and memoristic perspective to the detriment of that of mediation as dialogue and criticism. According to Ferreira et al. (2021), simulators do not replace reality but make it easier to understand situations that require a high level of abstraction. Tavares (2008) points out that the use of computer simulations streamlines physical systems that in traditional teaching are approached in a static way. This dissertation has the general objective of investigating the effectiveness of a Potentially Significant Unit (UEPS) applied in high school, in the light of David Ausubel's theory of learning (1968), which proposes the use of a computational simulator developed by the University of Colorado available at PhET platform, for teaching the photoelectric effect, via UEPS, as an advanced organization tool within the Theory of Meaningful Learning. The educational product was structured in four fifty-minute classes, applied and evaluated in a private school in the Federal District in the month of October and November in 2021 as part of a translational research (Ferreira et al., 2021).

The New Secondary School, which came into effect in 2022, comes with the proposal of an education aimed at training protagonist and critical students, capable of applying the knowledge learned at school to fully act in the exercise of their citizenship. Within this purpose, the discipline of deepening tracks, of the Formative Itinerary (IF), is structured so that students follow paths in line with their life project and their skills (GOIÁS, 2021a). In order to evaluate the implementation of a training itinerary, this dissertation presents an Investigative Teaching Sequence (SEI) for the Teaching of Optics, based on Carvalho's teaching by investigation and on Bruner's learning theory. With the objective of applying a proposal that promotes the process of Scientific Literacy (AC), the SEI was built through low-cost experimental activities and fragments of scientific articles, which addressed the historical evolution of the theory of light, mediated by spaces for dialogue ; classes are organized so that the learner starts with concrete actions that guide him to intellectual actions. For this purpose, different forms of representation are analyzed, discovery learning and Bruner's spiral curriculum, in which it is argued that everyone can learn in a fair and simplified way according to their stage of intellectual development. The sequence addresses Newton's corpuscular theory of light, Huygens' wave theory, Young's double-slit experiment, and Einstein's photoelectric effect; students are encouraged to exercise their role in carrying out the activities and at the end of each cycle the concepts are resumed with the presentation of a more formal language in the systematization classes. Throughout the application, evaluations are carried out to analyze the process and verify the CA indices and whether there has been learning; all activities are always arranged from the resumption of contents already seen in the IF, which are reinforced, providing the construction of new knowledge and the study of new topics about optics. In the case of this study, signs of the adoption of creative postures and the promotion of scientific culture are identified through the results obtained in the logbooks and in the cultural and scientific exhibition.

The teaching of physics in Brazil faces great difficulties. The teacher has the great task of making classes desirable so it is necessary to innovate, seeking motivational resources, technology is a very useful tool capable of arousing a taste for science learning. It is very important to develop students' critical power in the formulation of concepts through face book, always aiming at a meaningful learning of academic and human character. In view of this scenario and based on Ausubel Learning theories and social interaction of Piaget, he sought to develop electrostatic activities by focusing on storms formations through documentaries, videos and complementary texts as resources of the physics classes, all activities developed in the laboratory of Computing. Documentaries were also produced exploring complementary texts. This project was applied in the months of April to June of 2016 in a public school of João Pinheiro - MG: in the Quintino Vargas State School, involving three classes of third year of high school, in a total of 102 students. The material elaborated covered the topics of conductors and dielectrics, processes of electrification: contact, friction and electrostatic induction, Coulomb Law, Electric Field, Tip Effect. In all the didactic modules was worked, questions that seek to relate the scientific knowledge with the day-to-day of the student. The activities always worked collectively, promoting greater socialization and exchanges of experience, showing the importance of cooperation. The teacher was the mediator. The product of the blog consists of four segments: construction of experiments, doubts, examples of daily life and tips of sites about electrostatics, with this approach, part of the activities of the students consisted of investigative activities

The present dissertation describes a Potentially Meaningful Teaching Units - (PMTU) constructed with the purpose of enabling students to establish connections between theoretical principles and real-life experiences, using the act of driving a go-kart as a non-conventional teaching environment. A didactic sequence of five classes and a field trip in the opposite shift was developed with the aim of helping students achieve an understanding of concepts that appear in the study of accelerated movements, particularly, circular motion. The didactic sequence begins by investigating the students subsumptions and culminates in discussions strongly supported by the practical experience at the go-kart track(Kartódromo).
