  • Migration in Brazil is a complex phenomenon rooted in various causes, marked by a dark past of violations, and a present that, despite significant changes, still exhibits violence towards migrants. Throughout history, different regions of the country have witnessed migratory movements, impacting the lives of Brazilians. This reality is often characterized by challenges such as the search for shelter, adaptation to new cultural contexts, and the reconstruction of lives interrupted by traumatic events. However, when examining the state curricula of the North, Midwest, and Southeast regions, a significant variation in the approach to this sensitive topic is observed. Some curricula provide detailed attention to migrants, highlighting their historical and social importance, as well as contemporary migratory movements. In contrast, others offer only a superficial view or completely omit this reality. The research was conducted as part of the Research Program "Experience, Narratives, and Pedagogy of Resistance – REDExp," at the Faculty of Education, University of Brasília. The lack of uniformity in including this content in curricula can influence students' understanding of the diversity of experiences faced by those undergoing migration. The inclusion, or lack thereof, of recognizing migrants in the educational system may reflect how the country perceives migrants and deals with migration. These are questions that must be addressed to ensure that migration brings more benefits to the country and its residents and transforms the lives of those struggling for survival.

  • The concern of the dissertation presented here is the training of Portuguese teachers in the Federal District, in times of BNCC and BNC-Formação, in a context of dismantling of public education under reformist pretexts taken over by neoliberal policies. For the development of the embedded research, the process used was document analysis (DA). We sought conceptions from several scholars in the curriculum area, conceptions that support the proposal of the document that guides us in the Federal District, which is the Curriculum in Movement (CM), conceived and based on a long public debate, unlike the process autocratic and imposing that resulted in the BNCC. The next step will be the analysis of the Literature curricula of the University of Brasília (UnB) and four other private institutions in the Federal District, in order to identify possible dialogues between them and the Curriculum in Movement. A fundamental point for us to move forward with the research is its originality, as recorded in the state of knowledge. We selected 25 (twenty-five) works focused on this concern with the training of Literature professionals in the new millennium, a training imbued with a series of concerns, however, no research directed this training to the Federal District, this small microcosm inhabited by people of all parts, backgrounds, cultures, accents, individualities, idisyncratic aspects, among others. It is this multiplicity that resists the common base that empties diverse and significant identities and contents. Here's our agenda. In addition to the novelty of the proposal, we see the importance of teacher training in a critical and emancipatory way.

  • The present dissertation – as an anti-racist, anti-sexist and counter-hegemonic methodological proposal – has the general objective of understanding the perceptions of black women, students at the Escola dos Meninos e Meninas do Parque-EMMP in the Federal District, co-participants in this study about PEPOP - Diretrizes Operacionais e Pedagogical for the Schooling of the Homeless Population in DF. The study seeks to find out: who and how many black women are, who live on the streets and are students at EMMP, to understand what they think and seek in formal education and, finally, seeks to make a correlation between educational policies in Existing EMMP with national and local guidelines; if they are aligned and materialized through PEPOP”, if they connect to the understanding of the students, black women heard. To work on this broad path, the study focused on the life trajectory of five black women, EMMP students, and as a macro category of analysis we also focused on public educational policies aimed at homeless people in Brazil and DF. In fact, the research was organized into three parts, with Part I explaining the fabric of ideas about the construction of the text and initial considerations; Part II, the methodological construction, for the purpose of understanding the related research subtopics, containing the Bibliographic Review (Chapters 1 and 2) with several authors, especially decolonial and anticolonial authors, to understand the context in which black women find themselves in this situation of multiple vulnerabilities (especially in terms of race, class and gender); and Part III (Chapter 3) results of the field research, containing the content analyses.

  • Studies highlight music as a facilitating factor during the hospitalization process for premature babies. Thus, this is a case study on the effects of music on the interaction between the mother and her premature baby throughout the period of hospitalization in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a public hospital in the city of Brasília. The research seeks to compare indicators of interactions between the baby and the mother and the baby’s physiological reactions at two different moments, the first with lullaby music and the second with the mother's choice of music. Video-recorded observation was used and the analysis took place with the aid of the ELAN software, in order to be carried out in a microgenetic way. The baby was equally calm after music interventions, but a better response was observed in the pattern of behavioral responses after the second intervention. Finally, the fact that a single case was presented in this study does not allow for an exhaustive understanding of the contributions of interventions with different music styles, but it was evident how beneficial the application of music in NICUs can be.

  • The general objective of this dissertation is to analyze how the curricular structure of the contents related to the teaching of History in textbooks, changed by the High School Reform, in the public school system of the Federal District is organized from the perspective of History teachers. We assume that "historical awareness" (Rüssen, 2001), based on the teaching of History, is essential for critical and quality training in basic education. Contradictorily, the Secondary Education Reform, with regard to the organization of textbooks by area of knowledge, supported by the rigid approach of interdisciplinarity and thematic axes, ignites a spark of crisis principle of the "disciplinary code of History" (Cerri, 2019) by pulverizing its contents, in favor of focusing on the development of competencies and skills. Therefore, the central problem that outlines the research is the following question: How is the curricular structuring of the contents related to the teaching of History in textbooks, changed by the High School Reform, organized in the public school system of the Federal District according to the perspective of History teachers? From this perspective, we outline three theoretical axes to address this issue, namely: 1) Reform of High School in Brazil and in the Federal District; 2) History Teaching and High School; and 3) Textbook of Applied Humanities and Social Sciences for the teaching of History. The research consists of a qualitative approach, of an exploratory nature, concentrated in a case study (André, 2008; Yin, 2015). The research setting is a public high school in the administrative region of Taguatinga, Federal District. Our research object is the textbooks of the Modern Plus Collection, in the area of Applied Human and Social Sciences; and as interlocutors, the History teachers and pedagogical coordinator of the selected school. We also have the intermediate coordinator of High School of the Taguatinga regional school and the assistant coordinator of PNLD-DF 2021. The methodological path adopted is inspired by Historical-Dialectical Materialism (Marx, 2017; Netto, 2011) and in the adhesion of Historical-Critical Pedagogy (Saviani, 2021), especially from the perspective of critical theory of curriculum and education. The research methodology unfolded through the following procedures: bibliographic research (Gil, 2022) to understand how History was constituted as a discipline and transformed over time; and the historical context of the creation and course of High School in Brazilian education. On documentary research (Silva; Borges, 2020; Pimentel, 2001), we analyzed the textbooks of the Modern Plus Collection and the educational documents guiding the theme. There was a semi-structured interview and questionnaires were applied to the interlocutors. We used content analysis (Bardin, 2016) to apprehend the communications of the interlocutors' responses. As a technical product, we propose an improvement course regarding the selection criteria for History textbooks, which has History teachers as its target audience. We anticipate that the investigative research found that the reduction of basic general education from 2,400 hours to up to 1,800 hours, imposed by the High School Reform, through Law 13,415/2017, triggered consequences for the entire curricular structure, specifically the PNLD 2021 textbooks. The dilution of the curricular components in favor of the thematic axes caused the historical contents to be simplified to the detriment of the valorization of competencies and skills from the perspective of interdisciplinarity. We preliminarily conclude, based on this result, that teachers need to go beyond what is provided in textbooks to provide high-quality scientific knowledge produced by humanity, as toned in Historical-Critical Pedagogy, according to Saviani (2021).

  • The present study, apparently seminal at a local level, addresses the theme of feedback in the context of mathematics and autism, aiming to analyze to what extent the feedback used in assessment strategies by a teacher in a Generalist Resource Room (GRR) and by a teacher in a Regular Classroom (RC) of the 1st year of Elementary School in a Brazilian Federal District public school. This can contribute to the teaching-learning process of mathematics and the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This master thesis, structured in the Multipaper format, has its overarching objective informed by the objectives of each article: (i) to identify continuities and ruptures in the norms of Brazilian evaluative practices between the 16th and 21st centuries, as well as to investigate the role of feedback in this context; (ii) to identify Brazilian literature specifically addressing feedback in the context of the teachinglearning process of mathematics and the inclusion of students with ASD from 2012 to 2021; (iii) to analyze the perception of two teachers on evaluation and feedback topics in this context; (iv) to characterize the feedback practices of these two teachers for the same student with ASD in the RC and GRR. The research reveales a scarcity of studies on feedback in the Brazilian literature, especially involving ASD in the early years of Elementary School. It has been observed, in both national and local regulations, an emphasis on the importance and use of formative assessment and feedback, as a measure to break away from non-formal evaluative practices and feedback found in Jesuit and Comenian education documents. This focus also appears in the researched practices as the perception indicated assessment of the teachers as inseparable from the pedagogical process. They emphasized the importance of being flexible and adaptable and continuous and procedural and dialogical and centered on qualitative aspects, avoiding any punitive and classificatory character. Feedback is graded in an affective dimension, with motivational emphasis, which redefines errors as learning opportunities and promotes student protagonism, serving as a resource for reorganizing pedagogical work. Thus, ruptures with the mild exclusion of students with ASD are evident. However, the study concludes by highlighting the need to deepen the discussion about characteristics, variables, and important elements in structuring formative feedback, both in local assessment guidelines and in teacher training. This is crucial for overcoming obstacles to the implementation of evaluative practice from the perspective of inclusive mathematics education. This turns out to be essential for overcoming obstacles and establishing a culture of evaluative practice aligned with the perspective of inclusive mathematics education. As a contribution to the context, meeting the requirement for an educational product, throughout the Master's program, three articles and two book chapters have been published with partial results of the study, addressing the theme of feedback.

  • The present study dealt with the participation of families in Democratic Management, whose objective was to analyze the process of family participation in school decision-making under the aegis of Democratic Management at Escola Classe Olhos d'Água, located in Samambaia, Distrito Federal, in 2023. Using a qualitative approach, with a methodological bias through documentary analysis and case study, using observation data, document analysis and semi-structured interviews, it was possible to obtain a more situated and in-depth perception of families' participation in the issue in question. Based on the data analyzed, it was understood that, among the challenges posed to families' participation in school, there are: little knowledge about the School Council by families; restricted dialogue and minimal sharing of information about resources and accountability; and, families do not participate in the preparation of the institution's Pedagogical Political Project, in addition to the distance between what predisposes such a document and what is carried out in relation to the evaluation. The data constructed also showed that the school researched has already begun the search for welcoming and bringing families closer to the institution with actions aimed at this objective, in addition to inserting technological tools in communication with families. In view of the findings, at the end of the lines that follow, a Technical Note is presented as a proposal for intervention in reality and as a product of this undertaking

  • The work presents the interventions carried out by the pedagogue of the Specialization Learning Support Team (EEAA) within the scope of the State Department of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF) in the teacher training process. We raise the following question: How can the interventions created by the EEAA pedagogue for Collective Advice/Training for Teachers contribute and favor the teaching and learning process in a public elementary school in the Federal District? The objective of the investigation is based on the analysis of the interventions constructed by the EEAA pedagogue of Collective Advice/Training for Teachers and how they can contribute and favor the teaching and learning process in the public school Class 14 of Elementary School-Early Years of the District Federal. The methodological path involves the case study, observation, semistructured interviews, the Focus Group, a bibliographic review and documentary analysis of the Pedagogical Guidelines that guide the Team's actions. The analysis was supported by the perspective of Historical-Critical Pedagogy. The theoretical framework was based on the analysis of existing SEEDF documents on the EEAA service, to understand the demands of the object of study. Based on documents from the Department of Education, the EEAA pedagogue seeks preventive actions that contribute to the teaching and learning process, that favor the development of knowledge with collaborative strategies and that provide opportunities for valuing students' individualities and potential. As a Technical Product, there is a Didactic Sequence in an e-book with action strategies from the EEAA Advisory/Training with teachers from the perspective of Historical-Critical Pedagogy.

  • This research aims to understand if, and how, the absence of mathematics, a basic education subject, in the professional training course plan for nursing technicians, offered by the Centro de Educação Profissional Escola Técnica do Guará Professor Teresa Ondina Maltese (CEP- ETG), from the public education network of the Federal District, in the modality subsequent to high school, can interfere in the students' training process. This is a study with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data collection took place in November and December 2023, through the in-person application of a questionnaire and an assessment test for 39 incoming students and an assessment test for 78 students who were taking the last theoretical-practical module of the course at the time. Data analysis was carried out based on the rules of descriptive statistics. The result revealed that ETG students are, for the most part, female, aged between 21 and 25 years old, single, resident in Guará/DF, with an income of up to 1 minimum wage, having completed high school 3 to 5 years ago, all at a public school. However, each shift has its specific characteristics in relation to the course’s target audience. The results showed that incoming students enter with insufficient proficiency in mathematics knowledge that is necessary to learn some nursing knowledge. It also demonstrated that students who are completing the last module have insufficient proficiency in nursing knowledge that involves mathematical knowledge. Therefore, the absence of mathematics in the course plan interferes with the training of these students in terms of learning some specific nursing knowledge that is essential for working in the job market. As a technical product, two data collection instruments were created, the evaluative tests, which went through a validation process and, therefore, can be used in other similar studies

  • This work presents reflections on the teaching of indigenous histories and cultures in the basic education of the Federal District, highlighting experiences of intercultural dialogue in public schools from different locations in the DF, led by indigenous educators such as Kamuu Dan Wapichana, the Walê Fulni-ô cultural group, and through pedagogical mediation conducted by Professor Karine at the Indigenous Peoples Memorial. The aim of this study was to understand the potential of indigenous narratives and pedagogical mediation at the Memorial as a decolonial tool in teaching indigenous histories and cultures. Additionally, it sought to analyze how the teaching staff who participated in these experiences incorporate dialogue with indigenous peoples and visits to the memorial into their pedagogical practices, as well as to explore the presence of interculturality in classroom educational processes and the challenges faced in this approach. The propositional dimension consists of developing a course on indigenous cultures and histories for public school teachers in the DF. This work was carried out based on an ethnographic perspective in education and sought to establish a relationship with the theoretical frameworks of decoloniality and critical intercultural education. The results indicate that the presence of indigenous peoples in schools not only meets the demand of Opinion CNE/CEB No. 14/2015 but also presents an opportunity for the effective implementation of Law No. 11.645/2008, as they are capable of promoting indigenous presence in contemporaneity. Intercultural experiences not only provide knowledge about the various ways of being, thinking, and acting of indigenous peoples but also foster understanding of their cultures as dynamic and constantly evolving, emphasizing the right of indigenous peoples to change without losing their identity, thus challenging prejudices and stereotypes rooted in colonial history. However, the results also point to gaps in the initial and ongoing training of teachers, and the lack of adequate teaching materials for addressing the subject is also considered an obstacle, highlighting that for critical intercultural education to take place in schools, it is necessary to combine intra and inter-institutional efforts for the qualification and effective implementation of Law No. 11.645/2008.

  • When analyzing gaps in Brazilian public educational policies for the trans population, it was pertinent to understand the characteristics of current policies to formulate effective guidelines that cover this social group. Furthermore, before the insertion of these policies in the classroom, it is important to know the experiences of trans-transvestite teachers and students capable of tracing paths to provide opportunities for the insertion of these professionals and students to the point that this population increasingly occupies more school spaces. In view of this, for education professionals to be prepared and oriented towards the perspective of a liberating education, they need to recognize that the cis heteropatriarchal perspective is oppressive and tends to exclude people who do not follow its premises. When it happens within educational institutions, this recognition has the potential to facilitate and support the trans-transvestite community in reaching higher levels of educational training. With this idea in mind, acquiring information about the experiences lived by the gender dissident community can enrich the historical understanding of those who explore them and reveal unique characteristics that help to understand the culture of this social group, their way of communicating and their different linguistic variations. , like pajubá. Within this context, it is feasible to train education professionals with knowledge about these languages, to provide confidence to transsexuals and transvestites on their journeys. Furthermore, when considering theoretical studies and documents, it was possible to carry out qualitative research and address policies, language, culture, based on interviews, document analysis based on participant observation. Covering this entire approach provided the research with a deeper understanding of the reality of students leaving school and trans-transvestite teachers, which made it possible to find gaps in educational policies that harm these individuals. From this point on, we seek to find ways to accelerate the adoption of effective educational methods to fill these gaps

  • Identifying and understanding what individuals think, what their values and beliefs are, and what possible attitudes they may have in relation to specific situations or in relation to specific groups is essential for predicting intervention actions or analyzing interpersonal relationships between the various actors. The study of social representations allows us to understand how individuals deal with cultural differences and various interpersonal relationships. It represents a branch of research and theorization in both social psychology and sociology, which also work in an interdisciplinary way. In the field of Social Psychology, we have Moscovici, who coined the term theory of social representation – TRS. This research aims to identify and analyze the social representations of educators in relation to adolescent students who are in the context of socio-educational measures through qualitative research, in addition to comparing the data with another study carried out in 2012 with the same theme. The main understanding tool will be content analysis and prototype analysis. 71 educators from different schools in the Federal District participated in the research. The data collection modality will be the application of the TALP – Free Word Association Test and an open questionnaire.

  • The aim of this research is the study of conservatism in Brazilian education through the analysis of judicial decisions of the Federal Supreme Court. The judicial manifestation carried out from the perspective of the abstract analysis of the constitutionality of the legislation relating to the “School Without Party” movement and homeschooling occurred ostensibly in the Federal Supreme Court. This research seeks to answer whether one of the main political-ideological flags of conservatism, which is the defense of childhood and youth, has been judicially analyzed under the mantle of the fundamental constitutional principle of full protection of childhood and youth, the basis of this category of subjects. This is a qualitative study of judicial decisions handed down by the Federal Supreme Court, applying the method of reflective thematic analysis on the content of these decisions. In the end, as an intervention product, we intend to prepare a draft of an action for noncompliance with a fundamental precept, which will be presented and made available to political parties interested in promoting the judicial confrontation of conservatism in education before the Federal Supreme Court.

  • This research is a contribution to the reflection on the formative processes covered by the reception actions for undergraduate students, with regard to the performance of the administrative sectors involved in this process. In this sense, the interest for the research theme arose from the work context in which I am inserted as a pedagogue at the University of Brasília - UnB. Given the dimension of the topic addressed, this master's research was delimited with the intention of understanding whether there are formative contributions, on the part of the sectors, in the reception actions for undergraduate newcoming student. In addition, the research aimed to identify how the sectors involved perceive the formative processes arising from these actions. Also, the reception actions for newcoming student over the years were mapped and a Resolution was suggested, as a technical product, with a proposal to include reception actions in the University's policies. Therefore, in the context of contemporary social values of Critical thinking. As for the methodological proposal, it was developed at first in a qualitative exploratory way, with a review of the literature in the area and with documental research. In the second moment, semi-structured interviews were carried out that contributed to the qualitative research and content analysis.

  • Society's participation in monitoring public policies has become part of the guidelines for good management. In addition to enabling the insertion of citizenship in the sense of allowing the participation of all, this participatory paradigm started to be interpreted as a way to evolve processes in the search for better practices and results on the part of public management. Given the above, this research aimed to investigate the participation of society in monitoring the National Program for Restructuring and Acquisition of Equipment for the Network of Public Schools of Early Childhood Education - Proinfância, created to enable and guarantee children's access to kindergartens and schools through the construction of early childhood education units throughout Brazil. For this purpose, this study used the mixed method, the quantitative part being carried out through the analysis of the systems used in the monitoring of the program, and the qualitative part resorting to document analysis and the application and analysis of interviews with technicians from the National Education Development Fund - FNDE and with participants of the Early Childhood Education Forum. From this, 6 different adversities were identified in the data used in the monitoring of the construction of daycare centers, which tends to harm the monitoring, management, and results sought by this public policy. It was also found that, despite being important and enabling the reduction or even extinction of some of these adversities, society's participation in monitoring Proinfância is still considered low. Thus, to promote greater social participation and the search for better results, this work presents proposals for improvements, classified into 5 different categories, to be implemented in the monitoring of the program.

  • This work integrates the defense of the master’s thesis of the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação – Modalidade Professional (PPGEMP) of the Faculdade de Educação of the Universidade de Brasília (FE/UnB), whose theme is Indigenous students and the Escola Classe 115 Norte: intercultural and decolonial considerations. The work raises reflections on the relationship between indigenous children enrolled at Escola Classe 115 Norte and the aforementioned teaching unit. Starting from a critical decolonial and intercultural intention, the research seeks to understand the chain of compatibilities, divergences, limits and challenges between conceptions and practices of a public, urban, regular school, and the schooling of its nine indigenous students belonging to the Guajajara, Tuxá, Kariri-Xocó and Wapichana. The investigation analyzes the daily life of indigenous students, in addition to the organization and pedagogical practices at school, using the methodological support of the sociopoetic approach, as well as qualitative epistemology and, through the collective production of data, provides an analytical overview of the elementary school unit, the indigenous students, in their ethniccultural subdivisions, and their respective teachers. Through a critical look at the educational scenario, inherited from the Euro-descendant configuration, the investigation is willing to consider intercultural, decolonial and epistemological issues that permeate the school environment and involve its students in their multiculturalism.

  • In this study, the search was for traces of pedagogical practices carried out with children daughters of peasant students in the spaces of the University of Brasília, within the scope of the Project entitled Ciranda Children's Education, on the Planaltina campus. Such a project is characterized as of extension and began in 2012, covering its first decade of existence. When researching this first decade, little information is offered beyond studies carried out by former members or collaborators of the project. It is pertinent to point out that the name and actions are projected in dialogue with what is developed in Ciranda Infantil that takes place within the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST). This dissertation aimed to identify the practices and functioning of the Early Childhood Education Project Ciranda of the University of Brasilia that takes place on the Planaltina campus, as well as characterize the meaning of the Children's Ciranda with the Rural Workers Movement Sem Terra (MST), pointing out the practices of the Ciranda Children's Education Project along with the course Degree in Countryside Education and comparing the actions of Cirandas Infantiles, the Early Childhood Education Ciranda with the concepts of child, childhood, early childhood education that govern the education of children in Brazil. The research included a bibliographical survey and documentary, semi-structured interview. Going through the documentation of the Education Project Infantil Ciranda and the studies resulting from the referred project, as well as the interviews with people who have already integrated it, it is possible to identify similarities and differences with what classifies as practices in Children's Cirandas. It resembles the Itinerant Children's Ciranda, but not in the sense of physical space, but in the rotation of children who go through each stage by the project. Each semester a different group of children arrives at the project, as the Degree in Rural Education (LEdoC) operates on an alternating system (Time University and Community Time. A similarity is the practice of mysticism that is done through of dances, nursery rhymes and certain games. Such an understanding becomes possible through qualitative research, based on the comparison between scientific studies and Project documentation found. The analysis of the information built during the process research, allowed the production of constructive and interpretive knowledge about the theme, having as a guiding principle the objective of the research through category analysis. Based on our main objective, we identified that the present research provided a look at how pedagogical practices occur in the Ciranda Infantil Project with children, showing that the space provides mothers with a certain comfort in their study moments. Briefly, this is a project aimed at developing education based on human experience, which does not refer to a process of abstract alienation of values, despite experiencing these values, this way of living and participating in collectivity

  • The Lato Sensu Graduation Course in Sustainable Architectural and Urban Environmental Rehabilitation (Reabilita) is an e-learning specialization course whose mission is to prepare professionals in the areas of architecture, urbanism, engineering, building technician, geography, environment, among others, to deal with socioenvironmental complexities and advance in the construction of more equitable, inclusive and sustainable cities. The course aims to provoke critical thinking about Sustainability Education as a cross-cutting theme at all levels of Education and that for the maintenance of a balanced and socially just environment it is necessary a process of training more critical citizens committed to recognizing the environment around them and their interaction with it. From this perspective, this master's thesis investigates how the Rehabilitation Course influenced and influences professional performance related to social and environmental sustainability issues. Based on a qualitative and quantitative methodology, in addition to documental analysis and literature review, it uses data acquired through questionnaires directed to graduates to build a matrix of adherence/materiality to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our hypothesis is that; through the analysis of the results, it is possible to measure the influence of the Course on the professional education of graduates, and, at the same time, evaluate the legacy of graduates to the society, through the implementation of projects oriented to the SDGs.

  • The main objective of this study is to understand the role of the mother figure in the development of the re-socialization of young people who serve a socio-educational measure of internment in the Federal District. Specific objectives are: to analyze the family, professional and educational background of mothers of juveniles in a detention unit; to identify and analyze the main problems experienced by these mothers when visiting their children; to understand the importance of the mother figure in the social development of these juveniles; to verify possibilities of support to the mother figure, in order to facilitate the reintegration of juveniles into social life. Following a qualitative methodology, semi-structured interviews were conducted, in which the respondents were selected through the Snowball technique, given the specificity of this target audience. It was possible to notice that these women have many similar characteristics, such as: having lived in a broken home, early pregnancy, low education, poorly paid jobs with exhausting workloads, and single motherhood, among others. They also face several difficulties to visit their children, including the distance between the detention unit and their home, the lack of financial resources to buy basic items for the children and having to deal with invasive visits. Moreover, it is common for them to suffer prejudice, especially from people in their social circle. Mothers are aware of their relevance in the re-socialization process of their children, however, there is not a protagonist posture of the State in order to provide their closer action.

  • Throughout human history, work has been a fundamental activity in the human being's search for survival, for the conquest of dignity and well-being. The current context presents numerous challenges arising from the constant changes in the World of Work. In view of this, federal institutes, while having to counter capitalist society, have the function of offering Professional Education. In this sense, this dissertation was willing to evaluate, from the perspective of the graduates, the social function of the Federal Institute Goiano - Campus Posse in the professional qualification for the insertion of subjects in the world of work. This research was quali-quantitative and consisted of the documental analysis of the legislation governing professional education, official documents produced by the MEC and the Institutional Development Plan of IF Goiano. The theoretical framework was based on the authors: Antunes (2008, 2014 and 2018), Ciavatta and Frigotto (2012), Frigotto (2012), Harvey (2016), Kuenzer (2002, 2011), Laval (2019), Pacheco (2011), Saviani (2007) and Souza (2019), among others. The hypothesis raised was that if Goiano- Campus Posse has offered professional qualification courses with a direct impact on the employability of the graduate, in order to fulfill one of its important social functions in the field of education. The subjects of the research were the graduates of the courses: Technical in Administration, Technician in Agriculture, Computer Technician and graduates of the technical course in Integrated Agriculture to High School, graduating from 2015 to 2020/21. For this, the "Form for data collection and follow-up of graduates of the Federal Institute of Goiano - Campus Posse" was elaborated and applied online. This instrument was the educational product of this research. Based on the data obtained, the positive view of the graduates in relation to the contribution of the institution to critical and citizen training and to the insertion in the world of work was verified. As a limitation, the difficulty in obtaining a higher number of respondents was highlighted. To health it, it was suggested a constant updating of data from graduates and future studies involving the theme.

  • Basic education promoted by public education systems coexists with numerous learning difficulties, on the part of students of all stages and modalities. This situation was aggravated by the pandemic caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19), which drastically changed the routine of students and teachers. In this context, this research aims to evaluate the level of geographic knowledge acquired by students in the 6th year of Elementary School, in relation to the skills developed in the early years of Elementary School, based on a case study in a school in Valparaíso de Goiás. It is based on the premise that the reading of the world advocated, both in the Common National Curricular Base and in the reference curriculum adopted by the municipal teaching network of Valparaiso de Goiás, requires a specific work for its effectiveness, when it comes to Geography. In this sense, the methodological contributions of cartographic literacy are necessary for the development of geographic knowledge, especially with regard to cartographic literacy, which must be started in the first years of schooling. From the processes of cartographic codification and decoding, activated during literacy, the student mobilizes basic conceptual and procedural geographic knowledge to promote geographic reasoning, which enables students to operate in everyday situations. The methodology adopted has a qualitative approach, based on: document analysis, the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) of the teaching unit and the Curriculum Document adopted by the municipal teaching system (DCGO); participant observation of geography classes in the 6th grade class; semi-structured interview with the Geography teacher in charge of the analyzed class; diagnostic evaluation in relation to the reading skills and cartographic representation of the referred students. The results obtained pointed out that there are severe gaps in the students' training, with regard to the minimum requirements to work in Geography. In this way, a work material capable of providing a process of didactic intervention was produced, to rebuild and redefine conceptual and procedural foundations that will allow a more adequate work to the construction of geographic knowledge. In this sense, a technical educational product is proposed: a didactic intervention booklet produced from the Cartographic Literacy workshop, related to the methodology proposed as a course of continuing teacher training, aimed at teachers in the early years of Elementary School, to be carried out by the municipal network, in order to instrumentalize them in relation to the importance of a comprehensive literacy process, which enables the mobilization of geographic knowledge, based on the cartographic language.

  • The text examines the evolution of the focus of the Student Financing Fund (FIES) of the Ministry of Education (MEC). It extends by focusing on the service to students considered to be low-income who would not be able to access university education without the FIES. The general objective is to verify if the program is focused, that is, if it reaches the population that cannot afford the costs of its training. The methodology of this work was an exploratory analysis of data, supported by documental research and verification of information from databases. In addition, the quantitative information was treated using descriptive statistics from the crossing of information contained in the database of the computerized system of FIES (SISFIES) and the database of the Annual List of Social Information (RAIS) in the period from 2010 to 2020. The work has the specifics of describing the trajectory of FIES throughout its history to serve students who, in the absence of FIES, would not be able to afford higher education in the light of the concepts of institutions and path dependence arising from neoinstitutionalism history, identify the criteria used in focusing the program and consolidate the results found when crossing the database. Remembering that the current financing model uses, for the calculation of the per capita income eligible for the Program, the financial information declared by the person interested in the financing relative to both their own income (if any) and the income earned by each member of their family group. After the descriptive analysis of the information on the students financed by the program during the period from 2010 to 2020, it was verified that the current model adopted in the selection of beneficiaries is too broad, since it covers more than 90% of the Brazilian population, proving to be insufficient to focus on the most vulnerable people. vulnerable, suggesting the addition of qualitative variables to the financing model, such as: complete high school education in a public school, quota system based on race and whether the family participates in any government social program.

  • This course completion work aims to identify the predictive characteristics of default in the Student Financing Fund (FIES) and to simulate an income contingent loan (ECR) design for the Fund. The study is limited to student loan contracts formalized in 2017. Even this TFCC is organized in a multipaper format, consisting of an introduction, two articles, a technical product and final considerations. The study used methodology of a quantitative nature to achieve its objectives. The results indicate that historically minority groups and those from less developed regions tend to have higher default rates than the other analyzed groups. Regarding the simulation of an ECR design for these contracts formalized until 2017, a potential consideration of collection and reduction of default if effectively implemented is identified.

  • Libraries are increasingly becoming an important training space for the development of information competence, which is a set of knowledge, skills and attitudes for the search and use of information to generate knowledge. As a fundamental competence for evidence-based health practices, it is in charge of boosting this and several other practices and literacies necessary in today's society, in order to increase the cultural repertoire of individuals and learning networks, subsidizing their actions and acting in a conscious manner, grounding individual and collective decisions, enabling social transformation. The general objective of the work was to analyze and understand the practices of search and use of information developed by the academic community of the University of Brasilia (UnB), Faculdade de Ceilândia (FCE), in view of the development of a technical product, an educational program of information competence for the Health area. It is proposed, therefore, a self-assessment of the competence in information of the academic community of FCE, seeking to analyze and diagnose the main difficulties and needs of information search and use. Thus, using this panorama as the main subsidy for planning the proposal of a program consisting of educational mediations to be offered by the FCE Library. Therefore, we chose a research strategy in the form of a case study of the academic community in the health area of the FCE. The research sample was non-probabilistic and intentional, represented by students, professors, and administrative technicians who seek or requested educational mediations from the FCE Library during the 2nd academic semester of 2022 at UnB (Oct. 2022 to Feb. 2023). The instrument chosen and developed for data collection was the semi-structured online questionnaire, based among other documents, mainly by the Information Competence Standards for Higher Education of 2000 and the Framework for Information Competence for Higher Education of 2016 of the Association of College & Research Libraries (ACRL), applied on a voluntary basis to the participants of the mediations. The total number of participants in the educational mediations (invited) was 282 and the total number of participants was 178, with a response/participation rate of 63.1%. The result of the research presents a synthesis of the diagnosis of the frequency and self-assessment of the competence in information with which the analysis categories Undergraduate (students) and Postgraduate (teachers and technicians) use techniques, standards, providers, sources and information technologies for the preparation of academic and scientific work. The results pointed out in general that the participants have good knowledge and skills in using search engines, open access information sources and the use of ABNT norms. However, they present knowledge gaps and difficulties in the elaboration and evaluation of the research question, elaboration of search strategies with Boolean operators, use of controlled vocabularies, evidence-based health information sources, restricted access multidisciplinary information sources, use of bibliographic and review managers, and difficulty in using international standards for scientific writing.

  • The present research considered the Brazilian School Evaluation System (Saeb) and the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB) to understand the manager's relationship with the external evaluation data received by their school units. To this end, we investigated the pedagogical practices of the principals of six early-year school units of the public school system located in the region of Taguatinga, which showed progressive improvement in the Ideb in 2015, 2017, and 2019, to verify how the work of the principal occurs and whether there is a relationship between the results of large-scale assessments and the use of educational data by the unit's manager. The research, guided by the qualitative method, had as its methodological procedure the execution of semistructured interviews with members of the management, the monitoring of the routine of one of the managers (shadowing), and the analysis of documents. In addition, it was based on a bibliographic review of the theme. This work sought to track, by the performance of the management team, signs that the use of external evaluative data might be favoring the learning results expressed in the Ideb since the units under investigation had been showing an upward trend in the index. It was possible to notice that, although the data from the large-scale evaluation are already part of the school units' routine, the use of external evaluative data occurs in an incipient and unsystematized way, concluding that it is reductionist to say that the mobilization for the utilization of external data provided the growth of the Ideb in the years investigated. However, it was found that the more frequent the learning monitoring and the closer the manager is to this monitoring, the greater the possibilities of harvesting better pedagogical results. Focusing on aspects pointed out by managers as limiting the use of data, the technical product proposes the development/improvement of strategies that contribute to better data use.

  • The following work results from a research carried out at the Escola Meninos e Meninas do Parque - EMMP, in the Federal District of Brazil, which is characterized by serving homeless people. My motivation to undertake the project was based on the consideration of the schooling of students with multiple vulnerabilities. In this sense, I sought to understand how the previous knowledge of these students, prior to school experience, participate in the learning process. To this end, I chose ethnography as my methodology, which allowed me to enter the school space and relate to the people, the subjects of the research. In the text that follows, I outline some important points for the creation of the school and discuss the public policies and civil society movements that legitimize its work. In addition, I discuss the structuring of the project based on my initial training in Art Education and the subsequent alignment of my teaching practices with Environmental Education and Education in and for Human Rights, these being the thematic axes for the technical product that I present as a research result, the Living Well Workshop, built with a decolonial, transdisciplinary look and based on principles of cosmologies of Andean and Amazonian peoples, the Living Well. Finally, I share a summary of the meetings, the debates, as well as some findings and reflections that emerged in the workshop activities, seeking to understand the process of schooling of homeless people in the Federal District.

  • Starting from questions and reflections about the learning difficulties of students in the discipline of Physics in high school and their apparent demotivation, this work sought to study primarily about emotions and emotional valence and their possible relationships with learning; theoretical references indicate that emotions and cognition are closely related, which instigates us to investigate and analyze emotions within the context of the classroom, postulating that since emotions are so strong and influential in human behavior, these emotional phenomena and the valence emotional, which gives meaning and points to the relevance of a given event or event, it is pertinent to study these phenomena associated with student learning; with the objective of investigating relational elements between emotional valence and learning and the influence of emotions on students' motivation, an interview was carried out with students from the third year of high school in order to analyze the relationship of students with the discipline of Physics ; based on this interview, a Didactic Sequence was developed with classes designed to enable greater student involvement in the classroom and awaken greater interest and curiosity; the findings indicated, in the initial interviews, that the majority of male and female students have a high degree of rejection of the Physics subject, show demotivation and desinterest, and some data indicate that this lack of interest occurs as a result of disappointments due to low grades and difficulties with calculations, students end up abandoning the commitment to the discipline because they possibly see the discipline as very complex and difficult to understand; the complexity of the calculations seems to repel the students' attention; the questionnaires showed that classes with practical applications in the real world retain more attention on the part of students and seem to arouse greater engagement in the classroom; With regard to motivation, the findings indicate that although students perceive the classes as having more interesting practical applications, it seems that this aspect has not yet been enough to awaken intrinsic motivation in them, some seem to have extrinsic motivation, but still not enough to develop greater affection for others. physics content. Which indicates the need for further reflection concerning teaching and learning methodologies and their contributions to student motivation; this work aims to contribute with new investigations and reflections concerning emotions and emotional valence within the classroom, more specifically within the teaching of Physics; the data indicate that there is still a long way to go in this area of study and that, in fact, as initially postulated, all behavior, attitudes, positions and motivation of students in the classroom have a high emotional charge; and this emotional charge is related to their learning, motivation and involvement in the classroom.

  • The study problematizes masculinities and gender issues, through the observation of social practices of a group of fifteen children aged four to five years old from a first period class in a kindergarten in Sobradinho, Federal District. The research follows which questions and constructions the children have about gender; investigates, within the group routine, which movements break or reinforce the gender hierarchy; observes how perspectives about gender, values and norms are passed on and received by the children; problematizes which masculinities are part of the institution dynamics, discourses and routines. The research, which uses theoretical contributions from the Sociology of Childhood, was directed to male children, but the five girls in the class also participated in the study - given the relational character with which gender issues were treated. It is a qualitative descriptive research carried out through participant observation. The conclusion was reached that children in general, and boys in particular suffer with the restrictions of culturally and socially imposed gender norms, but some of them escape the standards and create their own forms of interaction; that the institution of Child Education legitimizes gender norms and carries sexist marks that are evidenced in pedagogical practices, although some actions seek to overcome the dichotomous logic - such as the absence of separate lines for girls and boys for example; and that the path in search of a Pedagogy of Listening - non-prejudiced and transforming - still needs to be better traveled.

  • The object of this investigation is to reveal the presence of the body, in the space of Early Childhood Education, through the interaction between self-knowledge and body control, in professional practice, from the perspective of Sociopsychomotricity Ramain-Thiers. This therapeutic approach makes it possible to relive the emotional issues that permeate self-knowledge and autonomy, through psychomotor experience. The central question involves understanding how the professionals of a Creche Escola, in Manaus/AM, evaluate the corporal experience that psychomotricity has given them, and how this experience can help in the rethinking of a learning project linked to young children. The theoretical foundations were anchored in phenomenology, based on the phenomenon of learning, in the space of Being-there, through the practice of Sociopsychomotricity Ramain-Thiers, which uses psychoanalytic concepts as the central foundation of bodily experience. Urie Bronfenbrenner (2002), Maurice Merleau-Ponty (2015), Maria Rita Kehl (2003) and Henri Wallon (1998) provide theoretical arguments for exploratory qualitative research. Data construction was operationalized through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with Early Childhood Education professionals who performed psychomotor work sequences with the researcher over 18 years. Data interpretation was made possible through content analysis, according to the concepts of Laurence Bardin (2010). The results found were the perception that self-knowledge, through body control, effectively contributes to the planning of activities of professionals working in Early Childhood Education, as well as favoring a more significant learning process for children in early childhood.

  • Student ombudsmen are recent pedagogical practices implemented in some Brazilian states and municipalities. This exploratory and qualitative research analyzed two student ombudsman projects running in the municipalities of Santos/SP and Manaus/AM, called, respectively, Aluno Ouvidor and Ouvidoria Estudantil, established within student unions. The study was initiated from the survey of scientific works published between 2012 and 2021 on public ombudsmen in Brazil, whose result did not identify any previous study on student ombudsmen. Based on the concept of socio-state interface and, especially, on the political sociology of public action, the general objective was to understand the constant dynamics in the selected student ombudsman projects, from the perspective of the interactions established between actors and sectors, as well as their representations, established institutions and selected instruments and the results achieved, in addition to the intersectoral processes involved, within a given territory. This study of two cases resulted in the examination of innovative initiatives of a deliberative and participatory character and allowed to conceive the student ombudsman as an instrument of public action. Still, due to the democratic dynamics observed within the school environment, the concept of public action interface was proposed. Finally, it was evidenced that the pedagogical practice has the potential to serve as an effective instrument for the strengthening of democratic school management and can be implemented in other cities in Brazil.

  • Considering that there were no scientific studies regarding the History of Education for the Deaf in Brasilia, especially on the Instituto Nossa Senhora do Brasil - INOSEB, the objective of this research was to investigate the characteristics of the education offered to the deaf at INOSEB, between the 1960s to 1990. To this end, a historiographical research was carried out, in which the methodology included the access and use of the sources that support it. For the most part, the sources were located in the INOSEB archives, consisting of four groups of documents: namely written reports on the history of the congregation, institutional documents, photographs and news from the newspaper Correio Braziliense, via Digital Hemeroteca of the National Library. The first initiatives of deaf education in Brasilia date back to the 1960s, in some institutions maintained by the public power and/or in schools of the Educational Foundation of the Federal District, about which, unfortunately, no documentation seems to have survived the time. Some traces of these initiatives were located in news stories published in a local newspaper. This source has not yet received historiographical treatment by historians who have dedicated themselves to the study of education in the federal capital. The investigation demonstrated the context of the education of the deaf in the Federal District, the process of installation of INOSEB in the years 1960-1970, and analyzed the characteristics of the educational practices of INOSEB in the years 1970-1990. It is presented as a technical product of this research, a short course entitled Historical aspects of the education of the deaf in the DF, which deals with the first institutions of education of the deaf in the DF, through the performance of INOSEB, in the years 1960 to 1990, and which will address: the vestiges of educational practices, Catholic practices and the itineraries of education crossed by the concepts of representation and practice; the rescue of the memories of educators about their own performance in the education of deaf people in the Federal District. Two concepts were fundamental to the discussions in this work: that of practices and that of appropriation, both by Roger Chartier (2002). INOSEB is one of the first institutions in the city focused on the education of the deaf, and its history has not yet been the object of historiographical treatment. The study made us realize its importance for the contribution in the history of deaf education in Brazil and, above all, to cover a gap in the historiography of the Federal District.

  • This research had the general objective of analyzing the participation of children in the Plenarinha Project, as well as the challenges and possibilities that permeate this pedagogical practice, which is inserted in the Political Pedagogical Project of a Public Early Childhood Education Center in the Federal District, and had as specific objectives to verify the teachers' understanding about the Plenarinha Project; to investigate the pedagogical action related to the development of the Plenarinha Project; to identify the possibilities of children's participation related to the Plenarinha Project in an Early Childhood Education Center in the Federal District during a school semester. The methodology used relied on qualitative research with participant observation, drawings, photos, voice recording, and document analysis. The subjects involved in the research are the preschool children of a Child Education Center of the Teaching Regional of Taguatinga of the Federal District. The observations took place on alternate days, with monitoring of the children's routines, in the classroom, on the playground, and during recess. In general, it was observed that there is room for children's participation, either at times requested by them, or by the adult granted. There are also moments in which this participation is denied to them, as well as the right to be listened to. However, the research sought to demonstrate the complexity of understanding the participation of children, as well as to verify the inconsistencies in the way the plenarinha project has been developed inside the educational institution.

  • “Can't you hear me? Trees talk with everything. With their leaves, their branches, their roots. Want to see? Agreeing to Minguinho’s words, the chatty Sweet Orange Tree from the romance “My Sweet Orange Tree”, we present the aim of this work: the teaching of text production in secondary schools from Bakhtin's dialogical perspective of language. The effective use of writing skills has become an important condition for young people’s participation in the contemporary world. In Brazilian secondary education, it is common to observe in a huge emphasis in the vestibular exams, since they are a manner to access great universities around the country. Consequently, the practice of textual production, mainly the argumentative genre, gains prominence within schools. Besides, writing is an essential skill in the workplace. Focusing on the text productions requested in ENEM (National Secondary Education Exam), we see the low scores of Brazilian students in the exam. It shows us the necessity of developing student’s writing skills in the classroom. To collect the data, we designed a text production course anchored in Bakhtinian dialogism. The course was developed with a group of 19 high school students who attended regular high school class of the Federal District Secretary of Education. The data was analyzed through qualitative content analysis The results showed that written communication is a dialogical activity. In Bakhtin’s view “within the arena of almost every utterance an intensive interaction and struggle between one´s own and other’s word is being waged, a process in which they oppose and dialogical interanimate each other.” (BAKHTIN, 1981, 354-355). From this point of view, language is something more than an arrangement of language structure. It is connected to society and history. It shows us the importance of promoting text production dynamics based on dialogism

  • This research is a case study, of a qualitative, explanatory and descriptive nature. The objective was to know the possible effects of attitudinal barriers on the coexistence, permanence, learning and success of students with disabilities, based on the perception of different actors with and without disabilities on an IFG campus. With a phenomenological approach, it was developed through a combination of methods and an instrument for producing information, based on systemic analysis, considering the nuclei, process, person, context and time defined in the bioecological model. 03 students with disabilities and/or SEN, 06 students without disabilities, 02 teachers, 02 administrative technicians and 02 managers participated in the semi-structured interviews. The research was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee in Human and Social Sciences and to the Research Ethics Committee of the Instituto Federal de Goiás – IFG. The presence of effects of attitudinal barriers was identified in the reported perceptions of situations involving jokes, exclusion from groups, prejudiced views, considering the person as incapable, feelings of pity, among other limiting events for students' learning, permanence and coexistence with deficiency. Suggestions were made for actions such as holding lectures and mini-courses to raise awareness about inclusion that could be included in the students' workload, activities that could give more visibility to the Center for Assistance to People with Specific Needs. A conclusive report for the NAPNE was prepared as a Technical Product, with information on the impacts of attitudinal barriers in the school life of students with disabilities and suggestions for minimizing them.

  • This research has, as an aim of study, the autobiography of two teachers that lived and worked in Guará City and the analysis of these teachers autobiographical narrative revelations about education. This process ends up giving us clues for their cultural representations, as well as their own education, realized in this administrative region of Distrito Federal – DF (Federal District). This city has a particular history, different from the original project for the new capital, in so much it surges and structures itself in a totally different moment from the rest of the administrative center that was born. It surges from a worker sitting in the Industry and Supplies Area and, as a sitting, it surges with many infra-structure difficulties that are reflected in the way education was realized. So, our research's general aim is to investigate what life and educational memories in Guará, during the 1960s and 1990s, emerged from the autobiographical “How we taught a city to read”. On the other hand, the specific aims are three: analyze life history, background and social and educational conceptions of the teachers ego auctors; to investigate the sources and day-byday as well as the education in Guará as it was by them testified. And, at the end, to show a didactical instrument to Guará history teaching as a technical product of this research. In addition, this education was realized around the representations defended by them as part of a cultural-pedagogical project very different from that forged in the central area of Plano Piloto. The documents about the origin of these school units and their structure tell a history and about it is this research. How was the process of implementation of the pedagogical project of the new capital at Guará´s schools in view of the historical context of its foundation? The research searches to understand the formation in school unities of Guará. To that, the research has helped itself by variegated sources, the most used was the autobiographical book of the teachers, but also newspapers such as Correio Braziliense, that circulates by now in Brasilia, and the Official Diary of Distrito Federal. The clipping was given up from 1967 till the middle of 70s. We also used photographs that were searched in the public files of Distrito Federal.

  • The theme of the research was “Students with ADHD in High School: Beliefs about their own mathematical abilities, learning and performance”. The work is justified as a way of knowing the beliefs of the student diagnosed with ADHD and identifying the most appropriate learning strategies for the study of mathematics. The objective of the research was to identify the possible impact of beliefs about their own mathematical abilities for the learning and performance of high school students diagnosed with ADHD. A qualitative research was carried out, using Urie Bronfenbrenner's Bioecological Theory as a theoreticalmethodological route. The instruments used in the construction of the information were the semi-structured interview, the interview with the Focus Group and the analysis of the documents of the participants, high school students who had a diagnosis of ADHD. The information obtained through semi-structured interviews and the focus group were subject to a thematic analysis based on analysis categories constructed based on the study objectives. Thus, the study's findings indicate that the students' beliefs pervade situations experienced by them throughout their ecological transition, as well as the teacher-student dyadic relationship. Another important point concerns the few learning strategies used by these students and the absence of learning monitoring. It is also important to highlight the need for a more interactive teaching practice, through active methodologies in education, which implies the importance of teacher training. It is important to highlight the need for more research related to the care of students with ADHD.

  • School parties are spaces for celebration, games and the creation of discourses and meanings. We place these parties as intrinsic to school culture. The goal of the research is to investigate the characteristics of the school parties of Children's Day and Teacher's Day in the Federal District published in the Correio Braziliense newspaper between 1960 and 1971 from the perspective of school culture. The surveyed sources reveal that Children's Day was widely celebrated, through a week that preceded it and the day dedicated to it itself. We have four specific objectives: to analyze what were the elements of the festivities of the Children's Week and which children these parties wanted to celebrate; to inquire what were the elements of the festivities of the Day specifically dedicated to Children and which children these festivities wanted to celebrate; to outline what were the characteristics of the Teacher's Day festivity and which teachers these celebrations wanted to exalt and present, as a technical product of this research, a mini-course on the history of the October festivities in schools in the Federal District. In achieving the objectives, we followed the following path: the first chapter is about Children's Week; the second is about Children's Day and the third is about Teacher's Day. Finally, the fourth chapter will present the technical product resulting from this investigation. We conclude that the Children's Week was composed of programs with Catholic rites, educational practices of an artistic, instructional and welfare nature; body education, health care, accountability to society; and had distribution of food and gifts. The childhood highlighted in the Week was composed of children who have fun, are cultured, Catholic, disciplined, athletic, healthy, clean, independent, artists and well dressed. Thus, there is the standardization of childhood in Brasilia. Children's Day was formed by events similar to Children's Week, since the former was intrinsic to the latter. On the Day, we highlight the school trip that culminated in the children's meeting with President Juscelino Kubitschek. Children's Day was prominent in society, opportunely used by the government to advertise public education. As for exalted childhood, the Day has the same ideal permeated by the Week, but with the additional mention of abandoned children, who are cared for in foster homes. Teacher's Day was commonly used for tributes. Rites similar to those performed on Children's Week and Day were also part of the celebrations. At times, the occasion of this commemoration was used for actions with political purposes, to denounce problems and neglect, to vilify the image of the class, promote improvements and public services and to propose benefits to teachers. Teachers were idealized in the figure of a woman, who made sacrifices, were competent, authoritarian, heroes, had a mission, being responsible for the future of the nation and for the propagation of nationalist ideals. At times, they were seen as undisciplined, overworked and unrecognized.

  • This dissertation analyzes the position of Down children in teaching practices in Early Childhood Education. It is relevant to point: school inclusion is set. Differentiation prevails in teaching practices, which is called difference. With this understanding, the question that gave rise to this study was constructed: what is the place of Down children in the teaching practices of Early Childhood Education? To support the discussions, it is considered the education for all paradigm, the Sociology of Childhood and the Pedagogy of Difference. The research was carried out in two Early Childhood Education Centers in Brasília, Federal District. The general objective was to analyze the place of Down children in teaching practices in Early Childhood Education in institutions of the State Secretariat for Education of the Federal District. The research was qualitative, grounded on document analysis and literature review. The data collection techniques were observation, whose subjects correspond to two teachers, twenty-four children, two of whom are Down, and a questionnaire, which, in turn, was realized with nine teachers. Data were analyzed using the content analysis method. The developed research considers: the Down child has specificities and other learning times. Teaching practices need to safeguard the socially constructed important place. The results of the empirical data reveal the place of the Down child: diversity and difference, point out and reinforce the challenges of difference and the need for continuing education, leading to the creation of a Dossier. It is concluded that respect and appreciation of difference, professional engagement and embodiment of the Political Pedagogical Project of the institutions in teaching practices contribute to unrestricted inclusion.

  • This dissertation aims to contribute to the research process on the implementation of the Curriculum in Motion of the State Department of Education of the Federal District in the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, focusing on the organization of pedagogical work and the transposition of the curriculum, in a moment of public calamity. The perspective of subjectivity and understanding of meanings attributed by the subjects participating in this study is a field of research to be explored, especially with regard to pedagogical practice in Educational Institutions, stimulating prophylaxis for future emergency contexts. The project is structured as a research with a qualitative approach, enabling the understanding of the essence of the experience of the subjects involved in teaching. To subsidize the discussion of the data, the research will be anchored in the theoretical approaches of Berstein (1984) Sacristàn (1998, 2000, 2013), Santomé (1995, 1998), Silva (2009, 2010, 2015), enabling a better understanding of the concept of curriculum and the relevance of practical experiences provided by the classroom context in the pandemic situation, as well as the elements that make up the HistoricalCultural Theory, especially with regard to Vygotsky's contributions to assist in the foundation of the understanding of processes of meaning and meaning elaborated by the subjects in the social context of their practices. From a methodological point of view, the path for producing empirical data will consist of a literature review, document analysis and the constitution of a focus group, with the general objective of identifying and analyzing education in the pandemic context and how the school curriculum was implemented by the teachers. In the end, the data produced will be subject to content analysis according to the technique recommended by Bardin (1977), with emerging categorization of the gathered information.

  • This is a study on the role of the Pedagogue-Educational Advisor (POE) in preventing and combating sexual violence against children and adolescents, within the Department of Education of the Federal District, whose objective is to understand which strategies the POE uses to combat abuse sex against children and adolescents. The following points were investigated: a) how does academic and professional training prepare these professionals to act against sexual violence?; b) does the professional recognize himself as an actor of public policies from the perspective of Human Rights? and c) what are the potentialities of this professional in articulating with other institutions in the fight against sexual abuse? Bibliographical and documental research was carried out to substantiate the research problem, which was sought to be answered through an exploratory mixed method study, with the application of questionnaires to Pedagogues-Educational Advisors and actors of the external support network. Given this, it was found that: a) there are guidance activities on gender and sexuality with support from the external network; b) POEs recognize the importance of continuing education as they realize that academic training is not enough to deal with the issue; c) despite considering themselves actors of public policies, the activities carried out do not reach the entire school community; d) the support network understands the role of the POE as fundamental in the prevention, identification and necessary referrals aimed at protecting children and adolescents. The research shows that the POE plays an important role in the Child and Adolescent Rights Guarantee System, not only in identifying situations of vulnerability, but preventing and intervening through theories and educational practices, which involve the entire school community.

  • The Brazilian penitentiary system has its roots in a culture that cultivates colonial and racist values, for this reason, a portion of the population was prevented from participating in the decision-making processes in an equal manner. This same portion of the population is subalternized, invisibilized, and subjugated by racial, cultural, and economic factors, and they are the ones who receive intentional clippings from law enforcement since the origin of the Brazilian penal system. In this study it was possible to identify the mechanisms of denial of rights used to perpetuate racism, discrimination, and mass incarceration of the black population. Furthermore, it was possible to see how these people have been denied the right to be, to know, and to power. Thus, access to education has never been a right of easy and permanent access. Access has always been restricted or denied even before they commit crimes or are deprived of their freedom. Thus, this study presents the (auto)biographical narratives of teachers/coordinators who worked or work in the Penitentiary System of the Federal District (DF). These are accounts of the life trajectory of strong and determined women who, aware of their social role in prisons, tell about the experience of doing EJA in prisons. All of them represent the struggle and the driving force that mobilized the group of teachers, for more than a decade, to significant changes at different moments in the history of education in the prison environment of the Federal District. We emphasize that this study is anchored in the decolonial perspectives, in the biographical method, and used narrative interviews as an instrument. All writing was constructed from bricolage. The study sought to decolonize the place of speech, which in our society has always been destined to white men, thus the need to privilege the voices of brown and black women when telling the story of EJA in prisons, highlighting the challenges and prospects for ensuring the right to education for people deprived of liberty. This is a qualitative study that values the subjectivity and the singularity of the subjects, understanding that there is no neutrality when making the choice of approach or methodology, thus, in a decolonizing posture we seek to bring the voices so often silenced throughout history in our country. The study has as its central axis the (auto)biographical dialogue of the researcher, who worked for eighteen years in the prison system as a teacher and coordinator, and the theoretical principles brought in the pedagogy of the oppressed by Paulo Freire. Besides this, there was also the contribution of other researchers, scholars on the subject, and the speeches of the teachers/ coordinators themselves, which appeared to enrich the proposed discussions in the light of (auto)biography, experiences, and the experiences of those who were in the prison environment, educating and being educated. It was an exercise of re-signifying the "I" and the "we" that allowed us to realize that experiences can be multiple and formative, both individually and collectively, since life stories can always be reinterpreted. Therefore, the study allowed the perception of the struggle of education professionals to make education happen in the DF prison environments, but it was also possible to perceive the forces that hinder the action of education in these environments. In some moments there are significant advances, but there are always regression processes as if there was a need to go back to the initial state. As a technical product, the author writes an educational action that privileges the place of speech of the student deprived of freedom about his right to say himself. It is also a guiding text that brings as a central argument the need for the student deprived of freedom to participate in the decision-making processes of his school, since they are the ones who need to say how this school should work, because it is in the dialogical and dialectical process that a conscious and participatory citizen is built and, therefore, the "re-socialization" takes place.

  • “Pull the flowers? Who can guarantee that they will not sprout again?” The words of Tistu's Father, in the book “O Menino do Dedo Verde”, represent the object of study of this research: continued training. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the country's education system. In this context, continuing education suddenly gained national prominence in order to prepare teachers for this new challenge. This study brings reflections with the expectation of changes in continuing education based on knowledge about the social representations of literacy teachers about the challenges faced in relation to the use and articulation of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the context of training. It is a qualitative investigation, of the participant research type, based on the phenomenological approach and in Theory of Social Representations (SRT) by Serge Moscovici (2017). Teachers and Coordinators participated in the study, working in BIA classes, working in the Regional Offices of Ceilândia, Gama, Taguatinga e Guará-DF. To generate the data, we established data triangulation from the development of an Extension course combined with documentary research and the Google Forms questionnaire. The analyzed data showed that the research subjects consider their social representations as relevant elements for possible changes in the continuing education context. With this study, we bring contributions to EAPE, presenting, in the end, as a technical product, the internal regulations and project for the implementation of NAFAL

  • The dissertation aims to understand the consequences for the financial management of the public basic education school in the use of decentralized resources contributed by the Money Direct at School Program (PDDE) and a similar program of state financial decentralization, in this case the Program of Administrative and Financial Decentralization( PDAF), from the Federal District. Therefore, it has as general objective to evaluate the financial management of the resources received by the public school of basic education in two federated entities, decentralized to the account of the PDDE, in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul and in the Federal District. Compare to the management of the PDAF, in order to address the relationship of financial management in the public school of basic education of the state and district network in the theme of the execution of the resources of the PDDE, in adherence or not with a similar program, as a way of promoting school self-management and the exercise of citizenship with the participation of the school community in social control. As a result of this investigation, the technical product proposal, aiming to guide the management of the resource decentralization policy for the National Education Development Fund (FNDE) and partner institutions, is guided by the comparison between the execution of PDDE and PDAF resources, and through the analysis of how the different programs act to develop self-management in the public school of basic education in the state network and for community participation in social control.

  • This research addresses the sources of funding for basic education in Brazil. It aims to understand the reasons that culminate in the non-application of financial resources transferred by the National Fund for Education Development (FNDE) to municipalities, for application in Early Childhood Education through the Support Program for New Classes and the Support Program for New Establishments , from 2018 to 2021. Semi-structured interviews were applied with managers who act or have acted in the execution of supplementary programs. These interviews resulted in the development of a technical product: a computerized system containing information that can support the actions of managers regarding the measures to be adopted to monitor the application of resources passed on to programs that support new classes and enrollments in Early Childhood Education.

  • The present research has aimed to investigate the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic in the literacy process of students in the initial literacy block of a public school of the State Secretariat of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF). Caic JK, the object of this study, is characterized as a Elementary school with multiple services: Kindergarten Education, Special Education and Elementary School (initial years). This study uses the qualitative method, with a case study approach. The instruments for data collection were the semi-structured interview and the focus group. The semi-structured interview was conducted with mothers and teachers of students who experienced the literacy process in the context of the pandemic; the focus group was conducted with 3rd year elementary school students who studied in public schools during the pandemic, and lived out the remote teaching, hybrid teaching, and the return to face-to-face teaching. Content analysis was used, and three thematic categories were defined: (a) literacy in the context of the pandemic, (b) the family in the students' literacy process, and (c) the teaching work and the new perspectives for literacy. The results found contributed to a better understanding of the challenges faced in continuing the literacy process during the pandemic. The research highlights the importance of the family to help promote the learning of the students and shows the teacher training as a means of providing quality education and literacy, emphasizing the importance of a collective work in the reconstitution of learning. Furthermore, the results showed an increase in the students' literacy deficit and indicate that a joint work is needed to overcome the difficulties imposed by the pandemic. Another expected result, since the beginning of the pandemic, was the increase in social and educational inequalities, affecting especially the most vulnerable people in our society. Thus, the literacy process needs to include all students, because every child has the right to literacy and quality education.

  • This dissertation aims to analyze the role of pedagogical coordination in public schools in the Federal District, based on the normative framework and pedagogical practices in the Early Childhood Education Centers and Kindergartens of the State Department of Education of the Federal District. For this purpose, the times and spaces where the pedagogical coordinators work are taken into account with further follow-up procedures in the Early Childhood Education Centers and Kindergartens of the State Department of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF). The proposed route was to relate what is currently established by SEEDF and the work that is carried out by the coordinator. The theoretical foundation is based on the legislation that defined the coordination throughout the history of Brasilia until the present day, with the annual ordinances published to establish coordination norms, as well as articles in Correio Braziliense- a newspaper from Brasília, the Regiment of the Public Teaching Network of the Federal District (SEEDF, 2019) and the Pedagogical Guidelines (SEEDF, 2014). The present study dialogues with Almeida (2001, 2010), Vasconcellos (2019), Alcântara (2020), Nóvoa (2015), Tardif (2014), among others in its theoretical basis. This is a study with a qualitative approach, which permeates bibliographical research (with a literature review of theses and dissertations); document research (in the Official Gazette of the Federal District and Jornal Correio Braziliense); field survey (with observation, questionnaire and interview); action research (with the intervention materialized in the technical product). Data from field reseach point to practices apparently integrated with the SEEDF guidelines and the Early Childhood Education Curriculum in Motion (DF, 2018), but without due reflection and without understanding the reasons for such practices. It also shows that the guidelines are not so clear and that there is a lack of subsidies to carry out the attributions of the pedagogical coordinator.

  • The objective of this final paper was to analyze the evasion in higher education among students who used the Student Financing Fund (Fies). The meaning of evasion is the act of escaping, fleeing, abandoning; leaving, giving up; not staying somewhere. It consists of the situation of a student who, having entered higher education, at some point stops renewing the enrollment and continuing the studies, going against the purpose of the financing, which is the conclusion of the course. The research problem was to find out the reasons why students drop out of higher education, even though they use the student loan to pay for their studies. The study delimits its scope to the year 2019, due to being the year before the beginning of the pandemic in Brazil, and a comparative analysis of the dropout after the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, in Fies, can be performed later. The TFCC was organized in multipaper format, consisting of an introduction, two articles, a technical product and final considerations. To achieve the proposed objectives, in methodological terms, the TFCC, in general, is defined as a quantitative research, classified as descriptive, describing the profile of the student who evades, and qualitative, classified as analytical, analyzing the reasons for evasion for Fies students, even with funding. The results indicate that most of the students who drop out are female, between 19 and 24 years old, mixed race, single, with family income in minimum wages between one and one and a half minimum wages, without PROUNI, public high school, FGEDUC guarantee, Southeast region and São Paulo with the highest percentage, Law course, Bachelor's course type in University Centers and with a concentration area in Social Sciences, Business and Law. As for the reasons for evasion, the results found point to the four main ones for students who used Fies: financial factor as the primary factor for evasion, followed by personal problems; default on quarterly interest and problems with the bail. The results presented specific reasons for Fies students, such as insufficient academic performance, SisFies error and problems in contracting the renewal at the financial agent. Thus, it can be concluded that the primary factor for evasion with Fies students is the financial factor. As a final contribution, the study proposed the creation of an indicator for mapping the profile of students who evade, to be carried out annually, contemplating quantitative and qualitative aspects.

  • The field of human development, with its relationships and professional formation and identity, encompasses the interaction between individual trajectories, social and work relationships, and, more recently, new communication models and modalities involving digital resources and tools. The concept of a personal learning environment (PLE) becomes relevant in the context of contemporary education and its processes of professional development and training. The aim of this work was to search for a definition of the concept of personal learning environment in the current scientific literature, more precisely in academic papers published in the last five years (2017-2022), through a systematic literature review. The methodological approach is characterized as qualitative and analytic-descriptive, and sought to identify and classify how the concept of personal learning environment is defined in the current academic literature; to identify how academic articles address the relationship between personal learning environments and the contemporary concept of open education; and to identify works that address personal learning environment from the perspective of subjectivity in learning. A total of 24 articles were incorporated into the analysis. The results show that the concept of PLE can be approached based on two major thematic axes – pedagogical and technological; and constructed from three main elements - technological tools, information sources, and connections with other people in a networked perspective. We thus defend a concept of PLE that articulates these three elements: from open education and learning ecology - within a human development perspective. We finalizes with a technical product based on the concept and characterization of a PLE as a proposal for applicability in the training of professionals associated with higher education.

  • Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a basic education teaching modality characterized by expressive cultural plurality. Given this context, this research presents as its theme the challenge of implementing educational policies that favor the access and permanence of EJA subjects in school, considering the intersectionality of vulnerabilities and the importance of transversal actions in the formulation of these policies. The general objective is to characterize the new curricular matrices of the EJA of the Federal District as strategies of access and permanence, enabling the integral formation of the subjects of the EJA and their insertion in the world of work, meeting the desires and needs of these working students. To this end, qualitative research was adopted as an instrument for the analysis of national and district regulations and public data regarding the public served by the modality. The theoretical foundation addresses the context of the EJA, the subjects of the modality and the challenges of the implementation of affirmative educational policies. The results of this research reveal the need for the State to invest in the valorization of education professionals who work with EJA, as well as in their continuing education. Thus, this research presents as a technical-educational product the proposal of a continuing education course for education professionals who work with the EJA modality in the Federal District, so that they can understand the curricular integration of EJA with Professional and Technological Education as a strategy of access and permanence of students in EJA.

  • This master's dissertation was developed in the Graduate Program in Education in the Professional Modality, at the University of Brasília and is linked to the area of concentration of Public Policies and Management of Education. Being self-assessment, the assessment that takes into account all components of the assessment process, directly related as a management tool for Graduate Programs, as it considers aspects not covered by external assessment. Self-assessment demonstrates the quality effectiveness that can come from complex environments such as graduate programs. The union of the two themes, that is, self-assessment and graduate studies, is a new topic and can be defined as a process of quality self-assessment. Given these concepts, this study aimed to analyze the performance of the student self-assessment instrument, as a pilot test, so that it can be applied/implemented by the PPGEMP Self-Assessment Committee as a recurring practice in the program. In addition, three specific objectives were determined, which consisted of pointing out the first self-evaluative impressions through the perspective of the students of the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Education in the Professional Modality, analyzing the individual evaluation of the course from the perspective of the students of the Program and conceiving student self-assessment as a mechanism to contribute to the program's strategic planning. Qualitative research was carried out, of a descriptive nature, carried out in 5 stages that interrelate and complement each other, namely: the literary review, the description of the historical trajectory of the postgraduate course, the literature review, the application of the questionnaire to the program students, analysis of data collected and results found. The analysis of information was performed through content analysis, of a descriptive nature. The results obtained in the present research indicate that, despite criticisms of the Capes assessment process, the student self-assessment instrument is na objetive and valid method. It is understood that this research ratifies the relevance of the self-assessment process in the graduate program, bringing elements to induce a maturing process of the self-assessment process in the sense of coresponsibility, collaboration and engagement, contributing to the improvement of graduate studies, quality the formation of Brazilian researchers and, mainly, the democratic practice in post-graduation

  • University extension has the role of dialoguing with society, responding to its demands and expectations, recognizing diversity, values and culture. At the University of Brasilia, the principle of inseparability between teaching, research and extension is present in the organization of pedagogical processes, in the development of didactic-scientific activities and in the guideline of extension action. The present study has the general objective of analyzing the contribution of extension services to students' education based on the conceptions of the actors involved and the practices developed in extension projects at the Exact Sciences Institute. An exploratory research was carried out, with a qualitative approach, based on a bibliographical and documentary survey and semi-structured interviews with participants in the Institute's extension projects. Data were interpreted from three categories of analysis: conception of university extension, function of university extension and inclusion of extension in the curriculum. It was found that the participants' conceptions of extension are close to an academic conception, coherent with the conceptions and meanings postulated in the Institutional Pedagogical Political Project, since the actions are guided by the inseparability between teaching, research and extension, promotion of events and transfer of technologies and in the dialogical relationship with a view to oxygenating the university and transforming society. While associated with the function of teaching, extension proves to add quality to academic training, providing more creative and innovative learning, so that at the end of the training process, the individual is able to act critically in society.

  • This Final Course Completion Work (TFCC) has as its object of research the experiences of mothers of premature newborns hospitalized in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (ICU). In Brazil, approximately 340,000 premature newborns are born per year. These are newborns who are born before completing 37 weeks of gestation, the gestational age that defines the moment when they would be sufficiently mature for an adequate adaptation to extrauterine life. The objective of this study is to listen to the experiences of mothers of premature newborns related to the period of hospitalization in a neonatal ICU. A support and relationship with philosophy was sought, through theoretical contributions on experiences through the reading of Friedrich Nietzsche and the philosophy of the Frenchman Jacques Derrida. Post-critical methodologies were used as means of investigation and treatment of the writings obtained. These are the Otobiographical Method and the Tympanization Method, which guided the Transcreation Workshops. The study brings as a technical product an educational proposal aimed at mothers of newborns admitted to the Neonatal ICU. The results showed that the mothers' narratives constitute an important element for understanding the context, the experiences and the way each one constitutes their experiences. Each mother expressed a unique way of voicing her fear and insecurity during her child's ICU stay. It is still biased and risky to maintain verticalized practices in health institutions, with few gaps to the powers of creation.

  • This research aimed to understand how the New High School is being implemented in a public school in the Federal District (DF). Based on our experience as a student and teacher of a public school in the Federal District and on the academic readings performed, we realized that the public educational policies developed directly affect the organization of pedagogical work (LIBÂNEO, 2016; SAVIANI, 2015, 2021). We also understand that the field of curricular studies is permeated, historically, since its genesis, by political disputes (APPLE, 2003; SACRISTÁN, 2000; Smith, 2021). Something similar has occurred in recent years, when we refer to Law No. 13,415/2017 and the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). We suspect, as a form of main assumption of investigation, that this legislation is, in fact, an instrument of public action that causes drastic changes in this stage of education. Our main question is based on the following question: How is the New High School being implemented in the public schools of the Federal District? Through the state of the art (SILVA; BORGES, 2018) we developed a mapping on what was researched in the area in the period from 2016 to 2022.We continue investigating with the exploratory research of qualitative approach, documentary analysis (CELLARD, 2008) and single case study (YIN, 2001) from the perspective of Dialectical Historical Materialism (MHD) (FRIGOTTO, 1991; TRIVINÕS, 2011) and Historical-Critical Pedagogy (PHC) (SAVIANI, 2021). We constructed the data through observation of the coordinations, semi-structured interviews and questionnaires in google forms that were treated through content analysis (BARDIN, 1977)

  • This research was focused on the perspective of clarifying: How do teachers of inclusive classes in the public network of the Federal District envision the teaching practice based on the National Policy on Special Education in the Inclusive Perspective? From this bias, the research had as a locus of investigation the school, a space of diversity where rach person is like a thread that weaves and interconnects in a vast network. In this context, movements in favor of the rights of people with specific needs have persisted for decades in the struggle to legitimize the right to 'Be' different, to be who one is, to be oneself, without detection, without prejudice and without exclusion. Therefore, inclusion is understood as the process that enables access and permanence for all, regardless of their specificities, in regular school. In this unfolding, the teacher stands, as artisan in the art of teaching and learning, who, as a good weaver, has to deal with the arrangements and disruptions of daily demand. Grounded in a qualitative approach, based on systemic phenomenology and under the aegis of Brofenbrenner's bioecological model, the research had as the general objective: To analyze the positions of teachers from inclusive classes in the Federal District regarding the discourse of inclusion in school practice, present in National Policy on Special Education from an Inclusive Perspective. For data collection, the questionnaire of interest and the semi-structured interview were used, with seven female teachers having been interviewed, from the public network of the Federal District. Data analysis was performed using Content Analysis advocated by Bardin (2011). The results reveal the need for teacher training based on a pedagogical approach from the perspective of differences. The speech that needs to be spread out is that a specific need is the one that the student has at that moment, any student. In this context, the need for dialoguing spaces and the participation of the subjects of action in the formulation of the Laws flies over the school floor. As a technical product, in turn, a proposal was prepared based on the realization of a Conversation Circle in order to promoting spaces for dialogue on inclusion and a Technical Note.

  • The present research is situated within the context of social, economic, and political transformations that encompass restructurings in both public and private organizations, as well as changes in the management of work processes and the individuals who carry them out. Not only did organizations need to adapt to the new social and work reality, but professionals also needed to demonstrate new competencies. Organizational actions aimed at developing these professional competencies are commonly planned by professionals in the fields of psychology and administration. However, the professional with direct expertise related to the teaching and learning process is the pedagogue. It is worth noting that there are differences between educational practices developed in the school environment and those in professional settings. In this regard, the research aims to analyze the role of the pedagogue in the development of learning actions at the University of Brasília. The research considered both the theories and experiences from the field of education, as well as the theories and experiences existing in other knowledge areas related to the topic addressed in this study. Qualitative research methods were employed. As a technical output of the study, a proposal for the involvement of the pedagogue in the learning actions offered to the employees of the University of Brasília is presented, aiming to contribute to the planning process of organizational vacancies and the pedagogue's profile at UnB

  • The present work aims to show the life trajectory of adolescents from the Brazlândia internment unit (Uibra) before they were sentenced to comply with the strict internment measure in the perception of socio-educational adolescents and their families. The Final Course Completion Paper (TFCC) is organized in a multipaper format, consisting of five articles. The writings were prepared based on interviews carried out with 47 adolescents and 26 family members from the aforementioned unit. A semi-structured interview guide was used with themes that covered aspects of the relationship with school, drugs, criminal ties, and family. All interviewees were aware of the Free and Informed Consent Form (TLCE). The combination of articles revealed, in general terms, that the guarantee of the rights of these developing subjects were not implemented, even though they were included in public policy regulations. Thus, it was noticed that they are triggered at the time of the infraction, when that individual is involved in a fragile reversion by the existing social network, which is overloaded. Thus, it is understood that the prevention of social disruption among adolescents does not happen in a timely manner. Therefore, based on this inference, a proposal is presented for a technical product for early intervention in the infraction situation with the aim of reducing initial illegal bonds and, therefore, strict internments.

  • This work focuses on student dropout in stricto sensu postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAV) of the University of Brasília (UnB) between 2017 and 2022, emphasizing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Student dropout is a significant issue, leading to social, academic, and economic losses, especially in public institutions where public resources are expended. With the pandemic, education suffered significant impacts, requiring adaptations such as the implementation of emergency remote teaching by UnB. The study is structured in a multipaper format, with an introduction, two articles, a technical product, and final considerations, using quantitative and qualitative methodologies, analysis of institutional documents, and a survey of the State of Knowledge. The proposed technical product is a questionnaire attached to the course withdrawal form, aiming to collect data on the motivators of dropout. The goal is to use this information to develop strategies to reduce dropout rates in the postgraduate programs at FAV-UnB. The research is especially relevant due to the scarcity of studies on dropout in stricto sensu postgraduate courses and the need to understand the effects of the pandemic on education

  • Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) in Resource Rooms (SR) is a public policy gradually implemented throughout Brazil following the implementation of the National Special Education Policy from the Perspective of Inclusive Education. In the Federal District, it is developed through a partnership with the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) and the State Department of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF). The specialist teachers working in the Generalist Resource Room (SRG) are trained professionals with numerous responsibilities, such as training and guiding regular teachers belonging to the Initial Literacy Block (BIA) in schools in the Federal District. The theoretical foundation is based on the Historical-Cultural Theory, according to Vygotsky (2001; 2002; 2003), as well as the legislation that deals with the path from Special Education to Inclusive Education in the context of AEE in Brazil and the documents guiding AEE in SRG in DF. Regarding the objective of the research, we sought to analyze the possible effectiveness and the need for adjustments in the intervention actions carried out by the SRG teacher, in moments of continued training, for the pedagogical work of BlA teachers. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, it is highlighted that the research was qualitative in nature, with the participation of 12 teachers working in two hub schools, using the memorial and semistructured interviews as research instruments. The method of analyzing the information obtained was hermeneuticdialectic, by Minayo (1992). The results indicate effectiveness in the role of trainer and advisor of the AEE professional in SRG, highlighting its positive impact on the work of regular teachers and in the care of students with disabilities. However, the study participants highlighted issues regarding the availability of time to carry out these assignments. Thus, one of the adjustments highlighted includes the possibility of the specialist teacher working in a single school context. To do this, it is necessary to review the documentation which provides for itinerancy over the AEE in SRG in DF. The study made it possible to propose two technical products, a conclusive technical report regarding the research, and an improvement course on Specialized Educational Assistance in the Generalist Resource Room from a collaborative perspective. Based on the state of knowledge and the results obtained, it is considered the need for more research on the topic of AEE in SRG, aiming to improve the responsibilities of this professional, as well as expanding knowledge about these responsibilities in the internal and external school community for collaborative pedagogical practice that involves all education agents and that expands the possibilities for the global development of students with disabilities

  • In an institution located in the city of Brasília, it seeks to find out how the social mothers, who work directly with the children and adolescents in care, see the insertion of the children into the educational environment and to understand how this accompaniment between the Casa Real institutions and the public school takes place. Expressing the opinions of the social mothers and the main difficulties presented in the perspectives of these "mothers", in the institution-school relationship referring to racism, classism and sexism, and the fact that they are institutionalized children how they intersect and present themselves as an aggravating factor. The research used qualitative triangulation tools to analyze the data, using techniques such as a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews to obtain the results; documentary analysis and a literature review were also carried out. The questions guiding this study are: How do social mothers perceive the reflections of social experiences, especially at school, brought about by the children and adolescents who are institutionalized at the "Casa Real"? Do they see these children and adolescents as the protagonists of their lives? In their view, do children and adolescents suffer prejudice because they live in foster care? Do they report violence based on race/color, gender, and class in combination or not? In the view of these social mothers at Casa Real, do they perceive any difference in treatment in relation to school because they are "shelter children"? As a result, the study observed that there is ingrained prejudice in speech and actions, not only on the part of classmates, but also teachers, pointing to the importance of working on what it is like to be institutionalized, and reinforcing the focus on the racial issue. As a result, a proposal for an extension course was drawn up, with the aim of listing some concepts that permeate the results developed from the data studied.

  • This study aimed to (i) investigate the limits, advances, and challenges of the "Caminhos da Cidadania" Program in promoting citizenship, emancipation, and autonomy among young black individuals, considering the current paradigm that recognizes them as subjects of rights; (ii) understand the survival strategies of young black individuals, former participants in the "Caminhos da Cidadania" Program, and their life trajectories using an intersectional approach involving class, race, gender, generation, and territory, whenever possible. The study relied on normative references such as the CF/88, LOAS, ECA, PNAS-2004, Youth Statute, and program documents. The theoretical framework addressed concepts related to youth, black youth, inequalities, racism, and public policies. The results indicate that the "Caminhos da Cidadania" Program had positive influences, fostering discussions on diversity, professional guidance, and life projects. Regarding rights guarantees, despite legal provisions, the study revealed that the realization of these rights for the young black participants still lacks consolidation in practice. Their trajectories, marked by challenges and vulnerabilities, involve obstacles related to work and employment, formal education, and access to healthcare. Early pregnancy also exposes financial adversities and discrimination based on class, race, and gender. These complex issues call for public policies that consider multidimensional aspects and are designed to create opportunities for a dignified life in line with the rights guaranteed by law, especially for black and peripheral youth

  • Public Early Childhood Education in the Federal District is offered in different spaces, either exclusively for this stage, or shared with primary and even secondary schools. The provision of Early Childhood Education in school spaces can differ in many ways from that offered in institutions for young children. The aim of this study was to investigate the ways in which spaces are organized and used in a public school that offers Early Childhood Education on the outskirts of the Federal District and to see how children experience the places provided and how they live their childhoods there. The qualitative research was based on participant observations in a first period class at a school in the Sol Nascente administrative region of the Federal District, with the researcher acting as an atypical adult. The discussion of the data was anchored in the theoretical framework of Social Studies of Childhood, bringing together Sociology and Geography, taking into account children as subjects of rights and producers of culture. As a result, we found places where children live out their childhoods through different languages such as games, drawings and dialogues, even though there are few spaces provided and within a culture of schooling. We were able to observe how children relate spatially and experience the spaces provided by adults. As a product of this research for the Professional Master's Program in Education at the Faculty of Education of the University of Brasilia, a photographic dossier was produced with multimedia interactions of the spatial relations of the children who were the subjects of the study.

  • Phonemic awareness is an important requirement for learning to read and write. Scientific studies point to the relevance of emerging literacy in the development of these competencies. In this perspective, the object has an important role, and it has been shared between the adult and the child since birth just because it is loaded with meanings and sociocultural knowledge. Through this, it is necessary to identify the role that objects have in learning phonemic aspects in four and fiveyear-old children, during educational situations mediated by adults. For this purpose, a non-experimental, descriptive-exploratory crosssectional, observational study involving audio and video recordings was used. The results point to a close relationship between the learning of phonemic awareness and the use of objects. It has concluded that the intentional action of the adult and the use of objects in children's learning is a preponderant factor for cognitive development and for learning phonemic awareness through educational situations

  • This dissertation has the general aim of understanding the use, that has been made, of projects in Early Childhood Education and their conceptions and practices, through actions evidenced in an Early Childhood Education Center (CEI), of the State Department of Education of the District Federal (SEEDF). To this end, it was divided into three specific intentions, which look for to specify what is characterized as projects in Early Childhood Education, from a perspective of childhood pedagogy; passing through the guidelines on working with projects, which the SEEDF has directed to the Early Childhood Education units; ending with the analysis of teachers reports of the first stage about their practice with children projects. The methodology being used is qualitative research and is based on praxeological research (Formosinho, 2016), relying on bibliographical and documental survey, semistructured interview with the participants, talking circles and participant observation with voice recording and field diary. The people involved are teachers, the coordinator, and the principle of CEI. It was noticed that from the moment a subject for the project is indicated until the moment it is formulated and, finally, how it is carried out with the children, its construction goes through a complex process of diversified, understandings, which affects teacher training and pedagogical coordination. There is an understanding that children should be participants in the process of building a project, but there are challenges in practice that allow for effective listening and participation of children

  • This Dissertation makes a study of educational inequalities seeking to understand the factors that influence the evaluation of basic education results. For this purpose, this research used as methodology two main techniques to collect data: the interview via Google Forms and participant observation. The discussion started from two theories, Social Modernity and Social Reproduction. It was found that there are theoretical contradictions regarding the role of education in social stratification and also that educational inequalities are reproduced in the Federal District. It is concluded that women were the majority in participation. In private schools, people who declared themselves white predominated; In the public secondary schools, the majority declared themselves black or mixed race. Regarding the prospects for access to higher education, students from private schools want more and the level of education and economic capital of their parents are higher. Furthermore, they invest more in cultural and social capital, that is, they dedicate more time to study, invest more in preparatory courses for the entrance exam, in private classes and in studying with their family. Finally, it is suggested that the State should provide conditions so that students in public schools can have the same opportunities as students in private schools, through quality public policies and greater investments in research on this topic.

  • The present research aimed to analyze teaching practice with regard to the identification and inclusion of students with High Skills/Giftedness, in a public school in the early years of Santa Maria-DF. Students with High Abilities/Giftedness are included in the Special Education public. In this sense, they have rights to an inclusive and quality education that meets their peculiarities. However, due to the school community's lack of knowledge, these students' abilities go unnoticed and can generate some inadequacies in the school and social structure. When analyzing the questionnaire applied at the researched school, it was found that most teachers are unaware of the peculiarities of students with AHSD and do not have a training course in the area, which creates an obstacle to carrying out school enrichment, stimulating skills and including these students in the classroom

  • The global pandemic instigated by COVID19 had an impact on the way work is carried out, leading to a redefinition of the traditional model due to the need for social distancing and changes in the dynamics of communication, collaboration and interaction. Thus, the adoption of teleworking emerged as a response to maintain the continuity of activities and, at the same time, preserve public health. This transition to teleworking brought with it an amplified look at the possibilities of better harmonizing professional and personal life. On the one hand, many individuals have benefited from the flexibility offered, allowing them to organize their time more effectively, reduce the stress associated with daily commutes, thus increasing their quality of life. On the other hand, this new reality presented challenges. The lack of physical separation between the workplace and the personal sphere can lead to a feeling of always being connected, while the absence of face-to-face interactions can lead to social isolation, reducing the sense of belonging to the team. The present study aims to investigate the perspective of district public employees in the face of these transformations, including changes in working hours, such as teleworking and hybrid work. With an exploratory approach, with qualitative and quantitative methods, data were collected through questionnaires. One of the outputs is an information leaflet, offering practical guidance to anyone seeking to optimize the implementation of hybrid work, ensuring that this change is mutually beneficial for employees and institutions, thus promoting better quality of life and work effectiveness.

  • The study examines the implementation of the National Curricular Guidelines for Quilombola School Education (DCNEEQ) in the state of Goiás and the municipalities of Cidade Ocidental, Iaciara, and Cavalcante. Using a qualitative approach, the general objective is to analyze the plans and programs of the State Secretariat and the municipalities of Iaciara, Cavalcante, and Cidade Ocidental regarding the implementation of DCNEEQ in schools that serve Quilombola students in the early years of elementary education. The specific objectives include: Identifying how DCNEEQ is addressed in research on Quilombola education from 2012 to 2022; Mapping plans and programs of the state and municipal networks for schools that cater to Quilombola students; Analyzing possible connections between these plans and DCNEEQ. Results highlight that the documents available in the education secretariats do not adequately address the needs of schools regarding the implementation of Quilombola education outlined in DCNEEQ, limiting themselves to isolated actions. The State Education Plan (PEE) of Goiás and the mentioned municipal plans present broad goals for education in Quilombola communities, without explicit reference to DCNEEQ. The Municipal Education Plan (PME) of Cidade Ocidental includes specific strategies for Quilombola education; however, the 2019 evaluation and monitoring report revealed a lack of organization and investment for its realization. Regarding Quilombola students in schools outside their communities, there are no strategies for the identification and monitoring of these students in the municipal education plans.

  • The study of ‘numeracy’ is related to a new way of thinking about the process of developing mathematical languages and presents promising possibilities for the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children. The objective of this research is to understand the role of objects in learning mathematical language in preschool based on the Object Pragmatics approach, based on the semiotic materiality of interactive collective processes. In this way, it is described, in a systematic way, based on a careful bibliographical review, how pedagogical practice guided by educational situations (ES), mediated by the triadic relationship between teacher-child-object, can favor the emergence of Executive Functions (EF). The study was carried out based on the recording and analysis of educational situations (SE) in a private school in DF, in a co-participant way, involving the use of objects and correlating them to mathematical languages. The work is divided into two chapters, the first intended to present the theoretical concepts that anchor the research and their relevance for child development and the second presents a dialogue with the field of research based on the title: with fruit salad It is also possible to learn quantities and numbers. The results show the importance of systematic and theoretically based planning so that the structuring of ES can promote the development of EF through mediation between teachers-children-objects.

  • This study aims to relate the bonds established and their consistency, or not, between adolescents and socioeducators, throughout the practices undertaken in the socioeducational system, in an open environment, in the Federal District. The methodology adopted was of a qualitative nature, with documentary research and with the help of a questionnaire as a resource for data collection, which was directed to agents and specialists from the Open Service Departments of the Federal District. Considering the demarcations of studies on the bond, originating from Psychology, Pedagogy and Sociology, it is clear that bonding occurs from an early age. However, it is also possible to verify when reading studies in the area of policies and socio-education, that the social stereotype of adolescents in compliance with socio-educational measures contributes to the crystallization of stigmas that strengthen marginalization and the continuity of a system oriented towards punishment and exclusion. In a systematic way, the analysis of the responses to the questionnaire allows us to indicate that some of the socio-education professionals focus their attention and performance on the formal care process and others find meaning in building bonds from the first contact with the adolescent in the unit. Words such as: respect, empathy, welcoming, qualified listening, identification of singularities, were pointed out in relation to practices that confirm the creation of a bond with young people in socio-educational care

  • The concept of Rural Education emerged through the struggle of rural social movements against
the situation of social and economic inequalities that also translate into educational inequalities. In
this sense, the concept of Rural Education transcends the rural/urban dichotomy, bringing the
meaning of the countryside as a place of life, education, culture and leisure. The school of
countryside and in the countryside represents the right to quality education in the place where they
live, as well as an education focused on their culture and social needs. Rural Education, especially
in the Early Childhood Education stage, was neglected for a long time by educational policies,
resulting in a double process of exclusion for young children who live in the countryside, both
because they are children and because they live in the countryside. From this perspective, this
research focuses on the discussions on public policies for early childhood education in the
countryside, thinking about institutionalized educational processes. It aims at investigating the

applicability and effectiveness of public policies for early childhood education in the countryside
from the perspective of teachers, considering the right to quality education in the countryside.
Through interviews and observations, we sought to learn about the main dilemmas and difficulties
faced by the investigated institutions, as well as educational practices and their relationship with
the rights of children aged 0 to 6 years who live in the countryside. The research presents
indications of inequality in the distribution of resources, fragility in the physical structure and the
need for improvements in the training for teachers to attend this modality.

  • This master's dissertation investigates Law nº 13.257/2016, known as the Legal Framework for Early Childhood (MLPI), focusing on its configuration, interpretation and dissemination from its legal documents, the provision of training by the government and, mainly, in its identification through the testimonies of specialists who deal with early childhood and related policies, in the most diverse areas of the five regions of the country. From a methodological point of view, the research has a qualitative approach and the route to the production of the work was composed of documental analysis - of legal and academic documents - and of data collection collected from the realization of semistructured interviews carried out with experts from the five Brazilian regions. After going through the specialized literature and the analysis of semi-structured interviews, it is possible to consider that some programs and actions encounter obstacles, mainly with regard to the issue of investments, due to budget cuts; that intersectoral and intersectional approaches appear in all dialogues as a promising path to the quality of public policies; that the National Council of Justice (CNJ) has been committed to publicize the MLPI through its training, seminars and meetings; and that, from the point of view of specialists, Law nº 13,257/2016, between advances and setbacks, represents an inaugural look at childhood and children and presents itself from the perspectives of development, investment and guarantee of rights.

  • This dissertation aims to analyze the errors made by students in a large-scale cognitive assessment test and, from this analysis, generate pedagogical evidence to understand their performance in these assessments. It is assumed that the development of a skill is a continuous process, which stages are evidenced by the mistakes students make. Applying this concept to the universe of large-scale assessments and considering that the wrong choices of an item reflect these stages, it is understood that students at different stages of development of a skill also make diferente mistakes. This study used a statistical analysis methodology to analyze the probabilities of marking the wrong options and associate them with the proficiency level of these students, creating an interpreted scale that considers the students' mistakes instead of correct markings. The present dissertation justifies the study based on a quali-quantitative approach, being organized in the form of an article, with an introduction, two analytical studies, a technical product, which brings an interpreted scale with the objective of offering the school community and society feedback on student performance in large-scale assessments and final considerations. The results allow us to propose this scale, delimiting for each of the groups of students a profile of the erros generally made. It is worth noting that this research has an exploratory character, given its novelty in the scenario of analyzes performed on data extracted in large-scale evaluations.

  • In the academic context, studies on disability have gained specific contours that alternate between discussions centered on biomedical knowledge and those that aim to broaden this view, displacing disability from the bodily impairment and linking it to sociocultural barriers and the experience of the abject body. In these new transits, this research, based on the theoretical field of the social model, brings a reflection of accessibility in higher education in the light of ableism. The choice of the theme is justified by the insurgence of approaching disability as an expression of the social issue, a phenomenon still peripheral in the debates brought up by the Human and Social Sciences. We opted for an exploratory study of qualitative approach with a combination of ethnographic and visual text to portray and understand the object of analysis that focuses on architectural and urbanistic accessibility at the University of Brasília (UnB). Through the construction of an empirical approach consistent with historical, ethical and political commitments of urgent reflections on the oppression and exclusion to which disabled people are subjected, we seek to answer whether the UnB is a portrait of the invisibility of the multiple forms of being disabled on the university floor. The results obtained show that although the UnB has an Accessibility Policy, in order to ensure the application of legislation, what is proposed is still stuck in the theoretical field of resolutions, as well as in the field of punctual and merely adaptive actions, which demonstrates the need for the UnB to reflect on its own history and the inclusive practices it carries out.

  • The objective of this research was to understand the perspectives of romantic love and romantic relationships produced with women from the University of Brasília in extension workshops. As specific research objectives, three formative extension workshops were held with women from the University of Brasília, which made it possible to identify the formative processes that emerged from the extension workshops, as well as the perspectives on romantic love and romantic relationships produced with women from the University of Brasília in extension workshops. As a starting point, the research presented a critical proposal of conceptualization to the key concepts of the research, which were tensioned in the face of social markers of difference. Furthermore, the dissertation presented the state of the art of the key concepts, as well as a systematic literature review, in which the gaps that this research sought to fill were identified. As a methodological path, this research was supported by research-formation and methodology of history and life narrative perspectives, which supported the construction of extension workshops, which took place between September and October 2021, guided by gameplay and biographical work with objects research techniques. The nineteen women participating in the three outreach events took part in formative processes that build knowledge on the themes of romantic love and romantic relationships in a critical, democratic and horizontal way. From the generating themes, ten subcategories emerged, from the interaction of the women participating in the meetings: (a) technologies of gender, (b) deconstruction, (c) dissidence, (d) violence, (e) affective dependence, (f) religion Christian, (g) healthy relationship; (h) overcoming difficulties as a couple, (i) maternal device and (j) overcoming difficulties. With final considerations, the research demonstrated the need to politicize affections and themes of intimacy in work and university student contexts and constitutes an embryonic step towards the possibility of building a permanent and radical dialogue, through an educational, critical extensionist experience, horizontal and democratic on romantic love and romantic relationship at the University of Brasília.

  • The main goal to this research is to understand the perceptions when it comes to student assistance for students of Field Education who are mothers that take their children to college with them – Faculdade UnB de Planaltina (FUP Campus) throughout the duration of the course named as Tempo Universidade. In order to reach its goals, the research made use of multifactorial approaches by applying a survey and preplanned individual interviews to get effective participation with multifactor analysis as well as the analysis of public service tools available to the student assistance of mothers from LEdoC. The research justified itself based on the group’s particularities, who are mothers and come from rural areas with their kids to the campus, demanding particular structures available at the university in order to receive them properly. Also, student social assistence is relevant to the permanence of these quilombola and rural students, whose differences regarding to race, gender, motherhood and rural origins are intersectional. Even though the results from the research shows that the applied resources are insufficient to attend the specificities that comes from the students, especially considering a political scenario where budget cutbacks oftenly happens in the educational funds, it shows clearly that most of the students wouldn’t be able to finish their degrees if it weren’t for the program’s support. The research also shows that, due to the low scope of day care assistance and the disregard of the maternity specificity in other formal assistance mechanisms, an extension care strategy known as "Ciranda" stands out and implemented in the form of a collective action, as a result of the efforts of a local support network for students and their children.

  • Social relations will not be the same after the pandemic caused by the proliferation of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. In this context, this research has as its central objective to analyze and understand how the curriculum is materializing in the resumption of face-to-face activities after the COVID-19 pandemic in a Primary Education Center in Ceilândia-DF. As a presupposition, it is advocated a possible integrated curriculum with a view to multidimensional training of students, as provided for in the "curriculum in motion" of the State Department of Education of the Federal District, with emphasis on the 3rd cycle/final years of elementary school. The research was carried out in a public school in the city of Ceilândia that serves students from the 6th to the 9th of elementary school. A literature review theoretically supported the work based on Borges (2015, 2018, 2020); Freitas (2020); Gatti (2020); Jantsch and Bianchetti (1995); Sacritán (2000); Santomé (1998), Silva (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021), Silva e Silva (2021) and other authors who discuss the themes inventoried. The dissertation was based on the following guiding question: How is the materialization of the curriculum in the resumption of face-to-face activities due to suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic in a Primary School Center in Ceilândia-DF? To meet the needs demanded by the object of study, the following articulative axes were adopted: teaching during the pandemic, conceptualizing curriculum, integrated curriculum and an integrated curriculum and a curriculum of "transition" to the resumption of face-to-face activities. As a methodological path, the case study of the single type was summarized; and how procedures were adopted: the documental analysis of the curriculum in motion of the SEEDF, the pedagogical polytic proposal of the school and the curricular reorganization proposed by SEEDF in 2022, semi-structured interviews, online and printed questionnaires aimed at supervisors, coordinators and teachers were also used, and complemented by five observations of pedagogical meetings dedicated to the planning of school actions.. The research presented as main results: the lack of access of students to remote classes, indiscipline, emotional issues, lack of technological knowledge both teacher and student, the significant number of students who used only printed material, and even the evasion, infrequency and low participation and or return of activities were factors that further widened the learning gaps of students,  in particular, those in situations of greater social vulnerability and, in an attempt to minimize the enormous challenges present, we present as an alternative the donation of the integrated curriculum and the transition curriculum in the resumption of face-to-face activities. The main categories that emerged during the research were: content list, curriculum, low student participation, lack of access to the Internet and classes, indiscipline, interdisciplinary, integral education, historical-critical pedagogy, ignorance, learning gaps. To try to fill the gap evidenced in the reduced discussions of the curricular field within the school locus, we present as a technical product a proposal for a professional improvement course entitled "Curriculum: from proposed to practice", which can be offered by the school system itself and with a workload of 180 hours.

  • Precocious Education has sought to reach visibility that considers the development of children and allows people to think and reflect, at a procedural and pedagogical level, about its importance and how much it is necessary for children with or without specificities and for their main caregivers. Some questions are important, among them: how do the main caregivers and pedagogues perceive the importance of the activities promoted in the context of the program for the development of the children served? How can these experiences contribute, or not, to the engagement of the main caregivers and to the social visibility of the program? How can these experiences expand, in the social sphere, the understanding of Precocious Education and its importance in the context of development and learning? Based on these initial questions, we sought to understand the possible contributions of Precocious Education to Child Development, based on the experiences of main caregivers and pedagogues participating in a specific program of Precocious Education in the Federal District. For this, a qualitative approach and phenomenological research was carried out, having as theoreticalmethodological foundation the bioecological model of Urie Bronfenbrenner, which emphasizes human development as a contextualized process. As an instrument for building the information, semi-structured interviews were carried out and two reports on the development of the participating children were analyzed. The results indicate that the program still needs greater visibility, requiring more disclosure and guidance on the program and its operation. Although being a current and comprehensive topic, there is little research on the subject. Therefore, we seek to broaden the discussion to encourage that other works on the Precocious Education Program can be produced and published.

  • The object of this study is to understand the processes of student assistance at federal universities in the Midwest, considering its five main institutions: University of Brasília (UnB), Federal University of Goias (UFG), Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD) and Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). The theoretical background for revealing these dynamics is laid out in the conceptualizations of student assistance, public action, and hybrid forums. The research methodology is qualitative, based on the collection and analysis of data from documents from educational institutions, the National Forum of Pro-rectors and Student Affairs (FONAPRACE) and the Ministry of Education (MEC). As well, interviews were conducted with students, managers and with the representative of FONAPRACE. The National Student Assistance Program emerged as the main tool for public action aimed at ensuring permanence of students. It was observed that student assistance share many similarities, and are still focused on the distribution of financial aid, housing and food. The following were seen as the protagonists FONAPRACE, the Directorate of Social Development (DDS) of UnB, the Dean of Student Affairs (PRAE) of UFG, the Dean of Student Assistance (PRAE) of UFMT, the Pro-Rectory of Student Affairs (PROAES) of UFMS, and the Pro-Rectory of Community and Student Affairs (PROAE) of UFGD, the student movements, the political agents, and the Office of the Comptroller General of the Union. During the pandemic, the universities called for proposals for digital inclusion to provide minimum conditions for remote activities.

  • This research sought to understand the performance of the Pedagogue of the Specialized Learning Support Team (EEAA) of the public school system of the Federal District, as well as to analyze its influence or not on the "modeling of the curriculum" (SACRISTÁN, 2017) with the faculty. To this end, a historical analysis of the emergence of the Specialized Learning Support Service (SEAA) was made through the study of the current legislation and its Pedagogical Orientation. The need for this study was perceived, because there are still uncertainties regarding the work of this professional and his pedagogical performance of the school. It is proposed as a central research question: what is the possible performance of the Pedagogue of the Specialized Learning Support Team of the State Department of Education of the Federal District in the "modeling of the curriculum" (SACRISTÁN, 2017) with the faculty? As a general objective: To understand the possible performance of the pedagogue of the Specialized Team of Learning Support of the Secretary of State for Education of the Federal District in the "modeling of the curriculum" (SACRISTÁN, 2017) with the faculty. It was assumed that the possible performance of the Pedagogue with the teaching staff of educational institutions in the phase of "curricular modeling" (SACRISTÁN, 2017) can enable the teacher to understand the breadth of curriculum management and how the reorganization of the curriculum can be a promoter of guarantee of learning of students attended by the EEAA. The methodology used was the qualitative approach of exploratory character, with the performance of field research and single case study (YIN, 2015). The research scenario was a public elementary school – early years in the city of Samambaia, located in the Federal District – having as subjects the pedagogues of the EEAA and the teachers. The research had theoretical support in historical-critical pedagogy (SAVIANI, 2012). The research methodology used was materialized by the following investigative procedures: bibliographic review; documentary analysis; semi-structured interview with EEAA pedagogues and 10 teachers; questionnaire applied to 49 PEDAGOGUes of SEEDF, who work in the 14 regional schools and at the head office; observation of the moments of action of the pedagogue with the teaching staff in an individual and collective way. To meet the demands of the object of study, the following theoretical axes are articulated: 1. Pedagogy and pedagogues: theoretical bases, anchored in: Franco (2008), Libâneo (2010), Pimenta (1996) and Silva (2017; 2019); 2. Specialized Team of Support for Learning and Organization of Pedagogical Work: Freitas (1995), Libâneo (2018), Lima e Silva (2020a; 2020b); and 3. Specialized Team of Learning Support and the modeled curriculum: Sacristán (2017), in addition to the supporting documents of the State Department of Education of the Federal District (SEEDF). As a technical product, the proposal of a 400-hour latu sensu graduate course will be presented, which will target the Pedagogues of the Specialized Learning Support Teams of the Department of Education of the Federal District. Preliminary data indicated that the performance of the pedagogue was perceived as very important within the organization of pedagogical work and in curriculum modeling, it is worth mentioning that there is a need for investment in the continued training of the EEAA pedagogue by SEEDF. The units of record raised were: The performance of the pedagogue, The pedagogue and the curriculum and the pedagogue and the continuing education. In relation to the categories were selected of ontological and derived nature, i.e.: The Pedagogue and the teacher's support; The Pedagogue and the organization of pedagogical work; The Pedagogue and the accompaniment to families; The Pedagogue and the curriculum; The work of the Pedagogue; contradiction and historicity.

  • Taking the theme of failure as a phenomenon that has multiple meanings and unfoldings allows the perception of its reflexes in the professional choice and during life. This study aims to analyze the effects of failure in the life and in the personal and professional relationships of students in the health area at the University of Brasília (UnB). The research method chosen for the composition and analysis of data is called Otobiography. It is a type of qualitative approach, which proposes to listen to experiences in textual productions. The research participants are students in the health area who have experienced failure in the attempt to enter Higher Education at the University of Brasília (UNB), who at some point in their trajectory opted for the medical course, but followed paths within their own area of university health. Participants were asked to tell their stories with the phenomenon of failing for entry into their current course. The results were that the effects of failure are felt in a unique way, alerting to the importance of topics such as mental health, the importance of quotas for access policies to higher education and perspectives that cross dreams, expectations and realities. In conclusion, it was inferred that the overcoming of phenomena such as failure requires recognition of a notion that each individual produces a story, showing that much still needs to be thought, analyzed and object of reflection when it comes to a multifactorial and complex theme , such as disapproval.

  • The research arose from the need to understand how the actions mediated by the pedagogical supervisor in curricular modeling can favor or minimize teacher isolation and, thus, promote a better Pedagogical Work Organization (OTP). We analyzed the positions of supervisors and teachers from the initial years of elementary school in relation to the axes: 'Pedagogical Supervisor', 'Modeled Curriculum' and 'Teacher Isolation' and how they articulate. In this sense, the assumption raised advocates that the pedagogical Supervisor can be an important ally in the face of teacher isolation, in the search for strategies for pedagogical work that considers the "modeling and transforming power of teachers" before the implementation of a "prescribed curriculum" (SACRISTÁN, 2000). Thus, this study is based on the following central question: how can the pedagogical supervisor's actions in curricular modeling favor or minimize teacher isolation? The research was developed in a school of the public school of the Federal District that serves elementary school – Early Years and with other supervisors of classes schools located in different areas of the city of Ceilândia. The research has a qualitative approach, through a single case study (YIN, 2015) with analysis of the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) and the Curriculum on the Move; semi-structured interviews with managers, coordinators, Specialized Learning Support Team (EEAA), Specialized Educational Care (EEA), Educational Guidance (OE), teachers and supervisors of other teaching units; application of a questionnaire to managers, coordinators and other professionals directly involved in the research and participant observation of collectives, sectorized coordinations, class councils and the pedagogical week. As a technical product we have developed a continuing training course for supervisors and coordinators of the public school system. Among the theorists who support our research are: Freitas (1992), Fullan and Hargreaves (2006), Lima and Silva (2020), Rangel (2001), Sacristán (2000), Saviani (2013), Silva (1981) and Veiga (2013). Regarding the factors that can minimize teacher isolation through the actions of the pedagogical supervisor in curriculum modeling, we highlight, from the data collected and analyzed: the direction by the management of the work of this professional for the pedagogical; specific continuing training; knowledge of what prescribes its tasks; the sharing of work with the other professionals involved with the Pedagogical Work Organization, humanized look and welcome to their peers. We point out as possible factors that can favor teacher isolation in the mediation of the modeled curriculum: work overload when not defining its performance (administrative or pedagogical); devaluation of the function; the lack of a full staff of professionals for job sharing; the scarcity of specific continuing education; the absence of a clear view of their attributions.

  • This research called “Self-Assessment Process in Graduate Programs at UnB: A Training Possibility'' is linked to the Professional Master's Degree at the Faculty of Education-FE/UnB, in the Field of Research Training Processes and Professionalism. This was developed with the aim of investigating how the item “training” is being considered by some PPGs at the University of Brasília in their self-assessment process. It is a current object that makes it possible to change the grades of the programs and the quality of stricto sensu teaching. The research used a qualitative methodology, with an exploratory approach. In order to go deeper into the analysis of the subject matter, we opted for a case study with document analysis. Data collection was carried out using official documents and questionnaires within the scope of UnB. For the construction of the research, the following categories were considered: i) Self-assessment at UnB/Postgraduate programs; ii) Implementation of self-assessment proposals; iii) Teacher training and iv) Training as a tool to improve grades in programs. For data collection, we chose to use specific questionnaires for the programs and for the Postgraduate Deanship, which we believe to be the instrument that would best meet our demand. We highlight the following authors as theoretical references: CRESWELL, John W (2010 ); MORIN, Edgar (2000); NÓVOA, Antonio (2009); DIAS SOBRINHO, José (2000); TARDIF, Maurice (2005); MACHADO, Liliane C (2016); LEITE, Denise (2021). When we analyze the perceptions of the Dean of Graduate Studies (Pro-Rectory) of UnB and the Coordinators of the investigated graduate programs, we conclude that they understand the importance of the training item in the development of courses and programs, although they do not have a organizational policy aimed specifically at this issue. The research presents as a product a Manual of Basic Guidelines on self-assessment with the aim of highlighting the main CAPES guidelines and indicating suggestions for their implementation.

  • Competency-based learning was introduced by the Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) as an opportunity to achieve meaningful learning and integral development of students. However, it is observed that there is a great challenge for educational institutions to implement what is required by the Base. Therefore, the proposed study has as its main objective to verify how the application of educational robotics can favor the development of the set of general competences of the BNCC. For this purpose, we will work with a qualitative and quantitative approach, using bibliographic research and document analysis. To carry out this study, we used the questionnaires that were applied to professors and students as an instrument for collecting data and information. As the main findings of the study, we found that robotic educational robotics corroborates the development of all ten general skills of the National Common Curricular Base, it was evident the benefits of this practice for the development of such complex and important skills for the integral progress of students, in order to prepare them for the challenges of modern society, for the job market, for the exercise of their citizenship and in the discovery of their life project. that enables the praxis of educational robotics and the skills and competences that are developed in students. The technical product proposed from the results of the research, is proposed in the reference matrix of educational robotics, which seeks to guide the researched teaching institution.

  • This research results from extensive academic and
professional experience, elaborating a deep theoretical-
conceptual and practical reflection on the concept of
incarceration. Through a literature review and document
analysis, it addresses quanti-qualitatively the object of this
research: the mass restriction and deprivation of
adolescents in Brazil. A compilation and review of the
data obtained by the National (Annual) Surveys of the
System of Socio-Educational Attendance was carried out
in order to verify the rate of change and the rate of
imprisonment of adolescents in our country, since the
records of 1996. The theoretical set qualitatively confronts
the compiled and reviewed data, revealing the
governmental preference for a Penal State that incarcerates
adolescents en masse in the national territory from the
findings of the Inter-American Commission on Human
Rights (IACHR) Report. It also discusses, in a critical-
reflexive way, the political genesis that feeds back the

mass incarceration of adolescents, as well as the neo-
    rightist economic-philosophical current. Finally, it
presents a manifesto-conclusion and a draft of the
National Plan to Confront Mass Incarceration of
Adolescents, as a technical product resulting from this

  • This research is aimed to understand the construction process of the New Fundeb, within the scope of PEC nº 15/2015, focusing on the proposals presented by the main social actors active in the period, on the game of forces, on the chalenges and dificulties the influence exerted by them in the formulation of the new Fund, as well as the challenges and difficulties that permeated this historic milestone for the financing of basic education. The research, with a qualitative approach, was based in bibliographical research, which allowed building the theoretical framework of this work and subsidized the analysis of results, as well as documental research. The bibliographical reference addressed concepts, approaches, typologies of public policy and its formation cycle, aiming on, based on theoretical foundations, understanding the process of reformulation of Fundeb, besides having made a historical-normative discussion about the trajectory of the financing of public basic education until the institution of the funds policy, initiated with Fundef. The documentary research consisted of the analysis of documents produced within the scope of the Chamber of Deputies referring to PEC nº 15/2015, such as shorthand notes of public hearings, parliamentary amendments, drafts of substitutes, in addition to documents published by the main social actors showing their respective positions on the matter. The collected material was subject to content analysis, according to the technique proposed by Bardin (2016), so that the main themes discussed in the public hearings were chosen as lines of analysis. The results reveal the intense and tense debates, the existing conflicts of interests and the articulations made by the social actors to influence the PEC nº 15/2015. They are well-organized collective political subjects who adopted the presentation of technical studies and projections as their main instrument of persuasion, which supported the arguments used to defend their respective education projects. The analysis of the discussions allowed identifying a dividing line of positions in which, on the one hand, the proposals tended towards a more progressive perspective, with the defense of a considerable increase in federal resources and allocation only to public institutions, on the other hand, the conservative perspective , with privatist positions and defense of bonuses for educational performance, the agreements system and the efficient management of public revenues to increase the improvement of learning indicators without a significant increase in resources. Faced with the federal government's attempts to misrepresent the legislative proposal and the imminent risk of the end of Fundeb without a successor, some positions were changing throughout the process, in such a way that retreats in search of a consensus and in its strengthening contributed to the approval of the New Fundeb. The new Fund, created by Constitutional Amendment nº 108, of August 26, 2020, includes proposals presented by social actors, which demonstrates the strong influence exerted by them in the construction of educational politics, presents improvements in relation to the first Fundeb, but it also carries with it contradictions resulting from the capitalist agenda.

  • Faced with changes in technology, reader behavior and evaluation criteria, scientific journals need to find new ways to publicize their publications, with the objective of democratizing science and, thus, attracting authors and readers, as well as increasing the number of publications. citations to published articles – main metric used for the evaluation of academic journals. In addition to the traditional means of disseminating manuscripts in indexers, repositories and databases, social media (SM), academic, professional, podcasts and collaborative encyclopedias emerge as alternative options for scientific dissemination. This study addresses the communication and scientific dissemination carried out by scientific journals through a systematic literature review on the experiences of academic journals in SM in the period from 2017 to 2022, to then analyze the actions and results of the journal Linhas Críticas, edited by the Faculty of Education (FE) of the University of Brasília (UnB). The research used the procedures of data collection, bibliographic and documentary research, survey and case study. Among the findings of the case study, which covered the actions of Linhas Críticas, the growth of in the total reach of publications in SM stands out; the increase in the number of followers of institutional profiles in SM; and an expressive percentage of authors of submissions who had their first contact with the journal in SM. It is concluded that the use of SM is an important alternative for scientific dissemination, with positive effects also on the number of readers, authors and citations of journals.

  • This dissertation is a panoramic view of what was produced in the Postgraduate Program in Education – Master in Education – Professional Modality (PPGEMP), also related to a project with the National School of Formation and Improvement of Magistrates of the Federal Military Justice (ENAJUM) and the University of Brasília (UnB) where an attempt was made to investigate the aspects that support a curricular matrix based on competences and, that suited the context of ENAJUM, considering the curricular dynamics and the formative aspects. The theoretical reference on the conception of competence used was ZABALA; ARNAU (2014); LE BOTERF (2003); FLEURY; FLEURY (2001); LIMA, SOUZA; ARAÚJO (2015), SOUZA; BIELLA (2010) and for the study of curricular logic, studies by JONNAERT et al (2010); SILVA (1999), SACRISTÁN (2011); RASCO (2011); SILVA, (2020); FRANCO, (2012) . In the methodology, it was anchored in GAMBOA (2007) for the definition of the critical-dialectic approach through a qualitative vision. The production of the curricular matrix showed some points that were already indicated in the action-research strategy and the results obtained at first, it was a technicist curricular matrix based on the professional profile built, but which was later reformulated, gaining more critical aspects. From the results obtained, it is possible to emphasize the need for a greater conceptual clarification on the idea of curriculum in the pedagogical field for the school team and a better clarification of the objectives for the construction of the curricular matrix. The research reached the construction of a curricular matrix based on generalizing competences that substantiates the construction of the institution's future training projects

  • Considering the historiographical trends and the daily newspaper Correio Braziliense as an important historical source for education in the Federal District, the following research object emerges: the 1960 to 1971 configuration of the school fund Caixa Escolar in the then-existing newly created elementary teaching system of the Distrito Federal. The aim of this work is to analyze the functioning (emergency context, financing and uses) of the Caixa Escolar in Brasília, between 1960 and 1971, that is, from the inauguration of the educational system to the enactment of the education reform through of Law nº 5692, in elementary education in the new capital. The historiographical research was developed from the keywords search in the daily newspaper for identification and further classification of the news that somehow approached the school fund in the elementary education system of Distrito Federal. The methodology included the access of copies in the Correio Brazilense through the Digital Newspaper Library of the National Library of Rio de Janeiro. The investigation showed that the Caixa Escolar was naturalized in the daily life of primary schools in Brasília. Through the news it is possible to trace the emergency, different types of funding and uses that were made through this school practice. The conclusion indicates that the school fund was used to help public agencies responsible for funding poor students within the new education system in the capital. But not only, but the buildings were also benefited by the Caixa Escolar, as well as the purchase of many materials and the offer of snacks for all the students. As a technical product of the research, a mini course on the Caixa Escolar is presented, directed towards teachers of the public education network of Distrito Federal, to disseminate the findings on the historiography of local education. Two concepts are fundamental for the following discussions: that of collective representation and social practices, by Roger Chartier (2002)

  • The class and the game in teaching English: listening to the experiences of high school teachers was born amid questions about the teaching of English in public schools – which is often considered ineffective. Observing this reality, the present work discusses the use of games as a way of thinking about this learning, seeing playing as a teaching strategy and also as a dynamic of languages in this journey. For this, it is proposed the use of the otobiográfico method as a way of researching and working and, jointly, couples the Oficinas de Transcriação to this research as a means of listening to the experiences of English teachers at Centro de Ensino Médio 01 in Sobradinho, Distrito Federal. With the otobiografia, I place myself as a listener of the experiences; with the Oficinas de Transcriação, we open paths for artistry and for the production of new meanings through writing. Thus, it was reached the perception that the teachers, being in the position of artists, researchers and creators of their arts together with their students, generated a positive and relevant impact on the process of learning English. This is possible through movements in their thoughts about how games can be used in the task of educating – movements generated from the words of Darcy Ribeiro, an interview by Rubem Alves, a video by Fernando Tsukumo, production of games and writings and listening about the experience of playing in the classroom. In conclusion, the approximation with Nietzschian and Derridian concepts points to the possibility of promoting contributions and showing paths to the field of education through the game.
