SUMMARY:

Initial teacher training has been shown to be complex due to the multiple training needs to meet the training requirements of this professional in contemporary times. In this context, teaching laboratories at Higher Education Institutions have been considered spaces that favor the initial training of Science teachers by promoting a rapprochement between theoretical concepts and teaching practice. However, it is necessary to differentiate the teaching laboratories from those that are aimed at the curricular teaching of undergraduate subjects, as they can be pedagogical support for these subjects, but are not limited to this function, and can also assist in research, extension and programs that encourage teaching. Therefore, the object of this research will be to elaborate the structuring history of the Science Research and Teaching Support Laboratories (LAPEC I and II) and understand how they contribute to the initial training of Natural Sciences teachers at Faculdade UnB de Planaltina, based on the perception of its graduates, graduates and coordinators of these spaces. The research will be qualitative and participants will be graduates and graduates of the Natural Sciences course at Faculdade UnB de Planaltina who had the opportunity to experience activities developed at LAPEC. Teachers who have coordinated these laboratories since their implementation will also be invited to participate. As a research instrument, semi-structured interviews will be carried out, which will later be analyzed using the Discursive Textual Analysis method.
