INCLUSIVE FOOD IN SCIENCE TEACHING: PERCEPTIONS AND PEDAGOGIC PRACTICES OF BASIC EDUCATION TEACHERS
inclusive food; health; science education; teacher training.
Several approaches to health promotion were listed today. In this sense, perceptions on the theme of food gain space both in the field of Education and in Health. Considering that the scientific concepts that involve the act of eating go beyond the biological and chemical aspects, reflecting the coexistence and social interaction, we emphasize the issues related to food restrictions and adverse reactions to food and in this sense, the theme "inclusive food” is relevant to science teaching. The school is a fundamental environment to guarantee the right to adequate food, as stated by the National School Feeding Program - PNAE, therefore, the teacher has an important role
in carrying out pedagogical actions that include students with specific dietary needs. Therefore, the objective of this project is to identify how basic education teachers perceive the theme "food inclusion", in addition to proposing and investigating whether a workshop addressing this theme could propose the immersion and reflection of teachers on food inclusion. The methodological approach will be qualitative and the data will be analyzed based on Bardin's Content Analysis.
