SUMMARY:

Gender relations need to be present in teacher training so that reflections on stereotypes and prejudices on this topic can be discussed, preventing th school environment. In this context, science textbooks, important resources that assist in the teaching and learning of Science, have given little visibility to female scien This fact can make it difficult for girls to feel represented in scientific careers and become discouraged from pursuing them, in addition to perpetuating a view in which producing knowledge. The general objective of this research will be to hold a workshop to problematize, discuss and analyze the images of women scientists in Elemen together with Science teachers who teach classes in those years. The specific objectives include identifying teachers' perceptions about the visibility of women scientist practices can impact this visibility, understanding the challenges of including these issues in classes and evaluating the possible contributions and limitations of training qualitative with a collaborative research design that proposes a continuing education workshop that will be called “Pedagogical Workshop” that will aim to analyze ima textbooks with a focus on the representation of women scientists, as well as discuss the historical factors that made them invisible and propose pedagogical activities th scientific productions. The methodology used in this training action will be the engaged pedagogy thought by bell hooks that can promote inclusive education, with gen teaching for a liberating and emancipatory educational practice. The research instruments for obtaining data will be an invitation letter, a questionnaire, conversation ci an interview. Discursive Textual Analysis will be used to analyze the data.
