CREATIVITY IN THE PERCEPTION OF NATURAL SCIENCE TEACHERS

For a long time, creativity has been studied with a focus on cognitive abilities and personality traits. Currently, we are investigating how these factors are also related to social, cultural, historical and environmental factors, combining and influencing creative thinking. This work aimed to understand the conception of creativity of teachers graduating from a degree in Natural Sciences. The methodology was qualitative, the data was analyzed with Discursive Textual Analysis and three categories were identified. The results indicated that teachers believe that creativity can be developed, however, at different levels, due to factors that can influence it.
