SUMMARY:

This work presents an approach to the Parque Educador Project, an Environmental Education project in the Federal District that involves three public institutions: the State Department of Education, the State Secretary for the Environment and Animal Protection and the Brasília Environmental Institute, with the purpose of serving public school students. It’s purpose is to analyze the practices developed in the Saburo Onoyama Ecological Park through the Parque Educador Project, in partnership with public basic education schools in the Federal District (DF), aiming to investigate their contributions to the development of notions of belonging and enchantment to the environment in students participating in the project, relating them to the foundations of Experiential Environmental Education, Ecopedagogy and Heritage Education. The methodological approach used is qualitative based on the pedagogical intervention research method. The research will be carried out with the Class 512 School in the Administrative Region of Samambaia do DF, which signed up to participate in the project and was subsequently selected. Data collection will use questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, records made by students through field diaries. As a contribution, this work presents the project that is being worked on in some ecological parks in the DF, spaces further than classrooms and schools.
