SUMMARY:

This research aims to identify if the building maintenance in buildings on campuses at the University of Brasília (UnB) present the requirements of the efficient management of public resources. For this, descriptive analyzes were carried out with data on building maintenance in different buildings of UnB and an analysis of the efficiency of this maintenance was also carried out through the Data Envelopment Analysis for the year 2021, also known as DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) . The DEA results showed that the average efficiency of maintenance in the management units of UnB was only 0.27, indicating a low efficiency. The most efficient units were theCollege of Information Sciences and the College of Medicine, which reached the maximum scores of 1.00. The worst performer was the Collegeof Art, which score was 0.003.
