Technological changes in Brazil under the paradigm of general interdependence: an inputoutput approach from 2000 to 2019
Innovation, Input-Output, Structural Change, Economic Development
The objective of this work is, based on the literature on innovation recommended by Schumpeter and the analytical tools designed by Leontief, to identify and discuss changes in the interdependence patterns of an economy with a focus on technological changes based on an input-output analysis. These changes will be related, above all, with other key variables: relative prices, the composition of household consumption and investments disaggregated by sector. To this end, an analysis will be made of Brazil between 2000 and 2019.
