Integration of Haitian and Bolivian Immigrants in São Paulo, in a comparative perspective: Challenges and Strategies for Political Participation

This research project seeks to analyze the relationship between the integration of immigrants in the city of São Paulo and the lack of full political representation, with particular emphasis on the exercise of the right to vote and the political participation of Haitian and Bolivian immigrants. To this end, a comparative perspective will be adopted, allowing an interdisciplinary approach that provides a holistic analysis of the issues inherent to the political participation of immigrants from these nationalities, in addition to the application of a comparative historical analysis to evaluate transformations over time.
