SUMMARY:

In contemporary times, even with the processes of globalization in the world, many of the extinctions of plants and animals are due to human activities. Anthropocentric interference in habitats has caused their destruction and compromised ecosystem services (ES). Such debate are the main themes that are part of the discussion of the 2030 Agenda, contemplating the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this context, Payment of Environmental Services (PSA) acts as an incentive for biodiversity conservation and Sustainable Development (SD). For this, this study analyzes the Guardians of the Forest Program and how it can contribute to achieving the objectives and goals of the 2030 Agenda in the State of Amazonas, in addition to verifying whether the 2030 agenda is being fulfilled from the PSAs, more specifically from the Forest Guardians Program.
