IN THE TRACK OF THE MUD: AN ANALYSIS OF THE PROJECTS IN ANNEX 1.3 AS PART OF THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC RESTORATION PROCESS FOR THOSE AFFECTED IN REGION 3 OF THE PARAOPEBA BASIN BY THE BRUMADINHO DAM COLLAPSE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE JUSTICE

This dissertation project intends to prospect an evaluation of the projects proposed for socio-environmental repair in the Paraopeba Basin, after the Brumadinho crime tragedy, from the perspective of environmental and climate justice. Therefore, the general objective of the research is to evaluate whether the reparation projects provided for in Annex 1.3 of the thematic areas: agriculture, water and energy, already underway in the Paraopeba Basin, are promoting environmental and climate justice for those affected in Region 3 of the basin . The methodological strategy involves documentary, bibliographic and field research, using semi-structured interviews. The project was developed in conjunction with the Center for People Affected by Dams (NACAB), which will work mainly on conducting interviews in the field.
