This dissertation deals with the life story of Cleonice Pankararu, who in the movement of the waters, looking for her loved one alongside her mother and grandmother, across a vast territory and ended up bringing together two peoples, Pankararu and Pataxó. As she traveled through biomes, from the Caatinga to the Cerrado, she remained attentive, observing, listening, feeling the movement of the plants, their healing powers. The intention of this research is to understand his life story in the encounter between peoples, in the exile in search of his grandfather and in the interaction with the Cerrado. Thus, the general objective of this research is to understand Cleonice Pankararu's history of resistance and show her struggles against colonization, resilience and reflect on how she learned and interacted with the biomes where she was. This research is based on ethnographic work, seeking the narrative of Cleonice Pankararu and her community. Bibliographical and photographic surveys were carried out, as well as interviews, conversation circles and informal conversations to have an ethnographic theory about the knowledge of the healer in the encounter between two peoples.
