Self-inflicted violence in childhood and adolescence is something that has grown in Brazil and in the world and brings us an alert about the importance of mental health for all of us and especially for humans in development, children and adolescents. Self-injurious behavior, suicidal ideation, panic attacks, depression and anxiety are increasingly present in the lives of children and adolescents and even though it is a social and multifactorial problem, it is necessary that family, school and society inform and get involved to promote health of children and adolescents, in order to show them that life is worth living. This project aims to use a didactic sequence with an investigative approach with 33 high school students, to address issues of Puberty and Adolescence. It is assumed that through this proposal, we teachers will better understand the challenges of adolescence and that we can support and welcome children and adolescents.
