SUMMARY:

In the study of human physiology, reproduction and embryology are relevant topics for promoting both individual and collective health, as outlined by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). However, many teachers face challenges when addressing these subjects due to the complexity of reproductive physiology and the moral values associated with sexuality education. Furthermore, students often struggle with scientific language, correlating anatomical structures with their functions, and contextualizing the content. Given these challenges, it is necessary to develop didactic strategies for teaching embryology and reproductive biology, enabling students to act both as active subjects in knowledge construction and as agents of self-care dissemination. The use of well-structured educational games can facilitate the teaching-learning process, develop conceptual skills, and transform the classroom into a space for protagonism and experimentation, stimulating enjoyment in intellectual learning. The purpose of this project is to create, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of an educational board game focused on teaching embryology and human reproduction, which will be designed to address the gaps observed in conventional teaching approaches, aiming for integrative and inclusive education. Thus, the project also seeks to strengthen the role of the school as a conducive environment for sexual health education and preventive health practices.
