"Teaching the sensitive nervous system through investigative methodology: an analysis of teaching by investigation in biology teaching."
Sensory Nervous System, Sense of Pain, Teaching Biology, Teaching by Investigation.
The present work seeks to associate the methodology of teaching by investigation with the theme about constitution and functioning of the sensitive nervous system. Teaching by investigation will be used to propose a different teaching methodology capable of arousing students' interest, along with knowledge of the nervous system, which is often considered extensive and complete in terms of understanding. It will be a qualitative research that seeks to analyze the development of students during investigative didactic sequences on how the nervous system interprets the meaning of pain. Initially, an aim will be proposed to contemplate the students' initial conceptions about teaching by investigation in Biology classes, then an investigative didactic sequence will be developed where questions will be proposed to the students, who must raise hypotheses for answers on these questions, later the students must Conduct research to verify your hypotheses. At the end, students will be asked to develop a way of disclosing the entire process carried out by them during the research. The collection of research data will be done through the logbook and for the analysis the Bardin technique will be used.
