The investigative teaching of Biology, anchored in the methodology of problematization is a transformative teaching strategy capable of arousing in the student the curiosity, as well as challenge him to observe and understand reality. This work consists of the development, application, and evaluation of two didactic sequences from an investigative approach using the problematization methodology. This research is exploratory in nature, and the didactic sequences were supported by the use of active methodologies, with application carried out in a 2nd grade class of the High School of the Amália Hermano Teixeira State College in Goiânia - GO. Problem situations related to the context in which students live were created with morpho-physiological aspects of the female reproductive system, focusing on women's health, addressing in particular endometriosis and the relationship of hormones with miscarriage in the first stages of pregnancy. It will be carried out content analysis of ideas presented by the students for the problem situations, as well as criticisms and suggestions to the project. The result of this work seeks to reinforce the importance of using active methodologies in teaching and learning and to promote meaningful learning of the content addressed when compared to traditional methods of teaching.
