The Coexist game in the formation of geographic concepts by Elementary School II students at CEF10 Gama-DF

The Coexist game is a card and board game created by the author of the research, based on knowledge in the field of geography. As a basis, there is a numbered map, which can be from any continent, depending on the curricular strategy of the mediating teacher, and letters that bring problems related to the environment, politics and society. From the problem on the table, the game begins and then the interventions with real examples and real solutions are demonstrated and discussed with the mediation of the teacher, who, accompanied by the lesson plan, will focus on the planned objectives. In short, it resembles role-playing - game (RPG) games. This work aims to present and evaluate a proposal for a didactic game as the main tool for teaching Geography to students in the ninth year of Elementary School II.
