The present work is intended for the qualification exam of the professional master's degree in Geography Teaching, linked to the PROFGEO-UnB program. As for the organization, the work consists of three chapters: Chapter 1. The school, the production of knowledge and the absurd, Chapter 2. Historical-Critical Pedagogy and the teaching of Geography in basic education: an intercession and Chapter 3. Approaches between the study of the environment, Historical-Critical Pedagogy and the teaching of Geography in basic education. The chapters present subdivisions into topics, as observed in the summary, with the last topic of the third chapter only being titled in the text, with no contents described, as it is in production.
