SUMMARY:

The contribution of the study lies in analyzing the process of Decentralized Execution Terms (TEDs) at the University of Brasília (UnB), aiming to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance in managing these resources. This involves detailing the current processing procedure of TEDs, mapping the workflow, and identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies. The TED has become a significant tool in Brazilian public administration, particularly within Federal Institutions of Higher Education (IFES). The public administration has sought mechanisms to promote greater efficiency, transparency, and decentralization in the execution of public policies. The application of TED at UnB allows for more agile and flexible management of public resources, positively impacting governance and innovation. However, the implementation process of TED faces significant challenges, such as the need for efficient coordination, legal compliance, and the training of involved public agents. The study is characterized as applied, with a qualitative and descriptive approach, using methods such as bibliographic research, documentary analysis, case studies, and action research. It is expected that the results of this research will contribute to the improvement of administrative processes at UnB, promoting a more effective and transparent management of decentralized resources, and providing valuable insights for the implementation of continuous improvements.
