In the school environment, demotivation, apathy and indifference among students are increasingly noticeable, 

which consequently challenges and forces teachers to reinvent themselves in order to arouse in students the 

slightest interest in the teaching and learning process. Convincing students to actively participate in the school 

routine and, in particular, in the projects developed, as well as creating conditions and opportunities for them to 

become interested in proposing improvements to the school space is a great challenge. Change this reality 

through paths that motivate students to get involved in their learning and personal growth. How then can we 

offer opportunities for learning and building a future? How can we provide training that enables the emergence 

of new leaders based on projects developed at school and thus achieve student protagonism by awakening critical 

awareness and citizenship in young students? These are some questions that permeate the present study which 

aims, as an educational intervention, to identify, describe, analyze and seek possible ways to help solve some of 

the problems of everyday school life at the Gesner Teixeira do Gama Educational Center.
