The Use Of The Alba Emoting Method Applied To Viola Spolin's Theatrical Games In High School
Acting. Education. Emotion. Theatrical Games. Theater.
The main focus of this work is to build a study focused on the knowledge and exercise of emotions in the theater, using the
scenic games of Viola Spolin and the Alba Emoting method, to verify how the process of awareness of the respiratory, body
and facial expressions of emotions can collaborate in scenic acting workshops aimed at teenagers in public schools in the
Federal District. The study of emotions will be focused on identifying the basic emotional effector breathing patterns of the
six universal basic emotions, based on the study of Susana Bloch. For the scenic exercise of this knowledge, theatrical
games support the training and acting of beginners and the notions of non-verbal communication will also be highlighted.
