THROUGH THE CAMERA: THE DISCIPLINE ART IN PUBLIC SCHOOL IN TIMES OF EMERGENCY REMOTE EDUCATION AND SOME PROPOSITIONS
remote teaching, teaching of arts, photography.
This article aims to describe and analyze the didactic activities performed in the context of the global pandemic of COVID-19 in the Art subject in a public school in the periphery of Valparaíso de Goiás in the school year of 2021, as well as to present a pedagogical proposal for teaching art using photography in the last years of the elementary school. The students were received in a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) containing thematic rooms, with the first action developed by the teacher being the customization of the classroom page, followed by using forums to gather written participations and aesthetic productions, using short authorial videos that could be accessed asynchronously. The second bimester moved to the synchronous format of classes using the Spatial.chat platform, where the work with photography was developed. However, the very low number of students present and the need to engage students who could not be in class led back to the asynchronous format in the third bimester with teacher videos of up to 15 minutes, which generated more participation in the forums. Once the school creates a delicate network of relationships that every day interweaves the routines, the moods, and the stories and realities of the entire school community, it was possible to perceive photography as a tool for the development of the artistic eye, the enjoyment of art, artistic expression and creation, with the participants being provoked to reflect and develop new perspectives based on the photographs they presented.
