SUMMARY:

The objective of this work is to present a pedagogical proposal with the theme Guitarrada - 

musical genre developed in the city of Barcarena. Despite being part of the local culture, 

this musical genre is not used in music classes, which contradicts both the trends in current music teaching 

and the indications of legal documents that encourage the approximation of the local culture with the school. 

Using Keith Swanwick's C(L)A(S)P model as a theoretical-methodological reference, 

this project intends to offer pedagogical material for the development of music and guitar classes 

where guitar music will be the object of teaching.
