The teaching of arts is fundamental for the integral development of the human being; however, it is common to perceive that other disciplines end up taking up class time and that the teaching of arts ends up being relegated to the background or serving only as a support in the teaching of other subjects. The discovery of a pedagogy that values all forms of artistic expression and highlights its potential for the integral formation of the child, brings us to this work. This research project has as its general objective to point out the possibilities of complementarities between the BNCC, the curriculum in motion in the Federal District and the Waldorf pedagogy in the teaching of arts in early childhood education, based on the systematization of experiences, which is inspired by the Waldorf pedagogy, carried out with an early childhood education class from the public school system. For this, it was necessary to carry out a bibliographical survey, which revealed that this field of research is little explored and with little published material. The theoretical framework used sought to present the basic notions of child development and arts teaching in Waldorf pedagogy, as well as in the document of the National Common Curricular Base and in the Curriculum in Motion adopted by the Federal District. As a methodological procedure, the systematization of Holliday's experience was used. Data collection was carried out through observation, field diary, photographic and filming.
