The development of phonemic awareness in children at a rural preschool in the Federal District.
Education. Emerging Literacy. Childhood
The present study seeks to characterize the role of materiality in the development of emergent literacy competencies of Kindergarten children in triadic situations. From the perspective of Object Pragmatics, it argues that the use of everyday objects and replica toys in emergent literacy activities through the use of the letterfigure-object memory game can foster the development of phonemic awareness in 5-year-old children in triadic interaction situations.
