Education. STAR Methodology. Socioemotional skills. Emotional education. Public policy
This work aims to evaluate the STAR methodology (Systemic Relational SelfKnowledge Training) as an option to help educators at a public school in the Federal District in the development of socioemotional skills in adolescents. Teenagers face challenges in today's connected world, and developing these skills is essential to overcome these challenges. The study uses the qualitative method, through the case study approach. Questionnaires were applied to educators and students, aiming to better understand the impact of the approach on socio-emotional learning. In addition, it presents a technical product, an activity notebook, which compiles exercises to assist in the application of the methodology. The work ratifies the importance of promoting the socio-emotional development of adolescents and highlights the STAR methodology as a relevant tool in this context.
