Among the various aspects present in the educational context and physical education, values education is one of the most important, as well as arousing some concerns on the part of teachers. Due to the specificity of physical education classes and the reproductive nature presented in some approaches, attitudes such as bullying, sexism, exclusion of the less skilled, among others, become more evident, and often go unnoticed, or even tolerated in the educational context. . The literature and documents that guide education, such as the LDB, the BNCC and the Currículo em Movimento do Distrito Federal highlight the importance and need to address such aspects that cannot be ignored in classes. Therefore, the present study aims to analyze the contributions of School Physical Education in the construction of values in the early years of elementary school. Specific objectives: identify the challenges and possibilities in values education based on a pedagogical intervention based on the assumptions of critical-overcoming pedagogy and systematize a pedagogical didactic unit based on the investigation of bodily practices that highlight values. The research will include 8 subjects and will last four weeks. It is hoped that the study can contribute to the systematization of practices that contribute to attitudes of respect, solidarity and cooperation among students in Physical Education classes.
