Organizations are moving inexorably towards greater digitization in all its dimensions, and the use of technology is important to improve the efficiency of internal processes and the provision of services to citizens. But for technologies to improve productivity, they must be accepted and used by employees in organizations. This study aims to analyze the decision-making, implementation, acceptance and adoption of the Digital Payment Management System called Mercurio at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL) in Argentina, and the factors involved in said processes. The research will be developed under an interpretive approach. This approach aims to collect the
meanings of the human experience on the processes analyzed, investigating the opinions, perceptions and testimonies of each of the interviewees.
