SUMMARY:

The main objective of this study is to test the predictive effect of transactional and transformational leadership styles and psychosocial dimensions of organizational climate on the performance of federal civil servants in the post-pandemic context of COVID-19.

In view of this, the premise here is that the manifestation of certain leadership styles, in the light of organizational climate dimensions perceived in different organizational contexts, will exert predictive power on work performance, measured by means of a self-report measure. To achieve the expected results, the research will be descriptive and explanatory in nature, cross-sectional and using primary data. The approach adopted is qualitative-quantitative. The qualitative stage aims to understand the phenomenon, so the responses from a focus group held with public service leaders will be analyzed. Then, in the quantitative stage, the measures will be constructed and evidence of validity will be sought, so Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) will be carried out.

It is hoped that the results found can show the perception of civil servants on the variables mentioned according to a different context.Furthermore, based on the participants' responses, we hope to identify possible actions that can help public managers adopt more assertive strategies to manage their staff, while at the same time providing a healthy climate.Therefore, I hope to achieve the results mentioned and have an impact on the service provided to citizens.
