Architecture for Integration of Combat Simulation Data within the Land Force
Distributed Systems, Modeling and Simulation, Distributed Simulation, Data Integration
This work aims to propose an architecture for the integration of combat simulation data capable of collecting, storing, processing, and serving such data to meet the needs of the Brazilian Army’s Ground Force Readiness and the Brazilian Ground Military Doctrine. Studies were conducted on fundamental concepts in military modeling and simulation, and data engineering. In addition, related works on reference architectures and simulation frameworks were analyzed, which supported the formulation of a proposal aligned with the business vision. A case study was proposed to validate the envisioned architecture and identify some big data characteristics associated with the simulation systems used in the study.
