SUMMARY:

The work presents the compositional and performative process of an artist who envisions being an alchemist when she proposes to transform lead (research) into gold (performance), transmuting herself. The object of the research is the composition of Depuração da Alma, , inspired by the tarot, wich is a manifesto for the oracular art, an arrow-art that aims at paths in the synchrony of what is presented. Depuração da Alma is of individual appreciation. At each execution, the 1x1 performance relationship provides a ritualistic, performative, oracular and unique dimension, because there is an intimate dialogue between the artist and the spectator-consultant. The artist's experiences and episodes from her life are the raw material of the research and are related in synchrony with the tarot arcana. The images captured from the coast of São José do Norte, in the extreme south of Rio Grande do Sul, were edited in analogy with the arcana and are available as an oracle in the performance.
