SUMMARY:

Cerebral aneurysms located at the bifurcations of the middle cerebral artery still represent a major challenge in endovascular therapy. There are several techniques described in the literature, but with rates of complete occlusion and/or rates of surgical morbidity and mortality lower than microsurgery. We present a new technique that demonstrated aneurysmal occlusion rates comparable to the conventional endovascular technique (coils) with lower morbidity and mortality rates than all currently existing and described techniques
