SUMMARY:

The present study aims to evaluate intra- and inter-rater reliability using the E-lastic isometric dynamometer using the maximum force of voluntary isometric contraction of the muscles that involve the flexion and extension of the knee joint in healthy individuals. Statistical analysis was performed using Intraclass Correlation Reliability (ICC), Confidence Interval (CI) for mean difference, Standard Error of Measurement (SEM) and Minimum Detected Change (MDC) using Microsoft Excel, Prism and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (Spss). Data normality assumptions were met using the Shapiro Wilk test. 36 healthy volunteers were selected, divided into men (27%) and women (83%), selected between 18 and 55 years old, with a mean age of 21 years and standard deviation (SD) of 2.70 after data analysis.
