Cerebral palsy, Participation, School, Motor function, socioeconomic factors
The participation of children and adolescents with physical disabilities in different contexts is a complex phenomenon that requires understanding and objective and subjective measurement of its components. This study will characterize the school participation of Brazilian children and adolescents with CP and identify its predictors. This is a cross-sectional observational study, 153 children and adolescents with cerebral palsy will be selected by non-probabilistic involution of their own accord. Parents or caregivers fill out estimates and forms regarding participation in school context and socioeconomic data. The results of this study may indicate that better socioeconomic indices and better functional performance can be directly linked to more participation in the school context.
