SUMMARY:

The norms that involve the inclusion of neurodivergent students are sometimes confused with the inclusion of the student in a classroom, assuming that inclusion means having or not having neurodivergent students in that space. Therefore, it seems relevant to consider how inclusion has happened in the school environment. Based on this principle, the general objective of this study is to investigate whether LuDiCa can contribute to promoting inclusion through the development of empathy and protagonism. The first study carried out, Study 1, was an observational and documentary analysis study, in which it was identified that there are still uncertainties when putting school norms on inclusion into practice, in addition to showing that, when drafting the norms involving school inclusion, there is still a lack of unity between school professionals and those who occupy roles with decision-making power over inclusion. It was evident that there is still no participation of autistic students to give their opinion regarding their school inclusion, which made evident the lack of representation and protagonism in the face of norms that govern their academic lives. Study 2 will be a moment to analyze children's works, with the aim of verifying possible variables in these children's works, which may contribute to the development of empathy. Study 3 is an experimental research project, which aims to verify whether assuming a more protagonist role, for autistic adolescents, can promote empathy and, therefore, inclusion.
