IMPLEMENTATION OF HYBRID METHOD FOR DETERMINATION HARDENING PARAMETERS
parameter identification, numerical simulation, optimization
This work presents and discusses the methods of Genetic algorithms (GA) and Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) as initial procedures for the identification of material parameters. The aim of this approach is to improve the performance of the parameter identification process using a hybrid algorithm. In order to analyze the effectiveness of these optimization procedures, numerical and experimental results of the steels are presented and compared: 4340 standardised and recooked; R4 with heat treatment and U2 with heat treatment. The results pointed to a significant reduction in processing time and improvement in the final values of the evaluated parameters.
