SUMMARY:

Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases are an important cause of morbidity and mortality with high costs. Systemic Arterial Hypertension is highly prevalent and related to complications, especially in those who were more vulnerable. Proper care provision includes not only care and prevention of complications, but also health education and health promotion activities, with a significant potential benefit for hypertensive young adults due to longer exposure to the disease. Such activities can also be optimized by digital tools, including audiovisual resources on social media. Primary Health Care is a level of care strategically positioned to act both on care and on health education and health promotion, and the Family Health Strategy is the pillar of Primary Care in the Brazilian Unified Health System. Located at the users' territory and with attributes that include cultural competence, the ESF is powerful for articulating qualitative methodologies. From the literature review on audiovisual resources in social media on hypertension, gaps were identified regarding community perception and popular participation. Thus, it is proposed to carry out qualitative research of the research-intervention type with online workshops, with potential for converting the researcher's or participants' research into a hybrid face-to-face-online model, with hypertensive young adult users linked to the FHS of reference in a socially vulnerability of the Federal District administrative region: the first workshop to understand the group's view on audiovisual health resources on hypertension in social media, the second to do (1) feedback on the main elements of the first meeting and (2) optimization of the material, thus building a proposal for a thematic repository for audiovisual resources on hypertension in social media from a community perspective.
