This is a research line project on political, pedagogical and psychological aspects of sport, covering the theme of sports and leisure policies. The general objective of the research is to critically analyze the school sports policy developed within the scope of the Education Department of the Federal District (SEDF), between the years 2012 and 2023, in order to verify to what extent it contributes to the democratization of law. In methodological terms, the policy will be considered in its entirety, following the methodology proposed by Boschetti (2009) and specifically, it will be guided from the theoretical-methodological elaborations of the Grupo Avante/UnB (ATHAÍDE et.al, 2022). In order to achieve the objectives proposed by this research project, a bibliographic survey was first carried out on the subject to be studied. The project also proposes document analysis, with research on demographic indicators and social inequality indices in the DF; current legislation that regulates national and district sports; Multi-year Plans for 2012/2015, 2016/2019 and 2020/2023; annual management and accountability reports - 2012 to 2023; and guiding documents for school sports programs and projects developed by SEDF. To complement the data collection, semi-structured interviews will be conducted with managers of SEDF school sports programs. The project is organized into the following parts: introduction; main goal; specific objectives; justification; methodology; timeline; summary; chapters 1 and 2 and bibliographical references
