Participatory territorial planning for the tourist ecosystem in small towns in Chapada dos Veadeiros

The general objective of this thesis project is to elaborate and systematize parameters (patterns) of participatory territorial planning for the tourist ecosystem in small cities in Chapada dos Veadeiros region and to subsidize the revision of the master plan of the municipalities, based on the experience in Alto Paraíso. from Goiás and Cavalcante. This research, when presenting the theme of participatory territorial planning for tourism and, based on urban agendas and sustainable development goals, presupposes a collective elaboration that incorporates the multiple forms of knowledge and knowledge, to meet the reality of the locations in an assertive way. Tourism ecosystems are integrated as decisive instruments in the territorial dynamics of municipalities, whether linked to urban and environmental policies or economic growth. Action research was adopted as a guiding method for collecting primary and secondary data, as well as for the creation of propositional strategies that meet the demands of local interlocutors. The capo work will be carried out in 2022, given the limitations previously encountered due to the covid 19 pandemic. As preliminary results we have the identification of local interlocutors and the initial efforts to review the local master plans. In addition to the identification of tourist pressure points arising from the flows of people who use accommodation and food equipment.
