INNOVATION IN THE COMPLIANCE PROCESS IN PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING OPERATIONS BY PUBLIC ICTs
Innovation. Privacy. Scientific and Technological Institution
The General Law for the Protection of Personal Data (LGPD) came into force in September 2018, imposing that business processes involving personal data be reviewed and adapted to this legislation, in order to preserve the fundamental rights of freedom and privacy and the free development of the personality of the natural person. In the case of the public sector and research sectors, the LGPD has established specific conditions for the processing of personal data to be carried out. In this sense, the present work aims to innovate the compliance process to improve personal data processing operations within the scope of public ICT. Thus, the work was developed through four methodological steps that allowed the systematization of the theoretical framework suitable for its development. The technological products will be the publication of an article and the guide to good practices for the processing of personal data by public ICTs.
