Proposal for the construction of an Open Innovation guide for Small Businesses

This project aims to understand the various approaches of open innovation and propose, in a practical way, a model of how a small company can implement open innovation in its business. With this, it is intended to help small businesses to minimize risks when innovating, because practicing innovation in a collaborative and empathetic way enhances the chances of success to do something that until then had never been done. In this way, open innovation and traditional businesses will be studied as promoters and accelerators of development and innovation. The concepts and best practices of open innovation will be investigated in the literature to build an effective, efficient and efficient technological product. And to enable collective and collaborative learning, benchmarking will be conducted with open innovation management tools used by large companies to analyze the relevance of adaptation and even use for small businesses. It will also be investigated tools and agile methods that can be incorporated into the technological product of this study and finally will be produced a practical guide to open innovation so that small traditional businesses can incorporate into their management model.
