SUMMARY:

We will conduct a study on the mean curvature flow, seeking self-similar solutions. We will show the possible self-similar evolutions for surfaces immersed in Euclidean space. Next, we will classify non-trivial solutions of ruled, rotational, and helicoidal surfaces.
