Nilpotent actions in non-abelian tensorial products of groups
Non-Abelian tensor product; Action of groups; Nilpotent groups; Engel

Let G and H be groups which act compatibly on one another. Papers [14], [15]
and [22] consider a quocient η(G, H) of the free product G ∗H which is a group extension
of the non-abelian tensor product G⊗H. This paper aims to show that the group η(G, H)
is nilpotent if G and H are nilpotent groups which act nilpotently on each other. A couple
of exemples is given in detail to show that η(G, H) fails to be nilpotent when at least one
of the actions is non-nilpotent.
