SUMMARY:

The dimensional model of assessment and diagnosis of Personality Disorders proposed by the ICD-11

suggests five traits that describe personality pathology. These are: Negative Affectivity, Dissociality,

Detachment, Disinhibition, and Anankastia. As it is a relatively recent model, studies indicate the need for

its improvement through psychometric studies that provide evidence of its validity and consistency. Some

studies suggest, for example, that there may be a psychometric inconsistency between the dimensions of

Anankastia and Disinhibition. The present project is a cross-sectional observational study, aiming to

examine the dimensional structure of these pathological personality traits, with a special emphasis on the

Anankastia and Disinhibition dimensions. To this end, five instruments will be administered:

Sociodemographic Questionnaire, PiC D-Br, FFiCD-Br, PID-5-BF+M, and BFI-2-S. Adults aged 18 and

over, of any gender, will participate in this study. About 1,000 participants will be recruited from various

resources available in a virtual environment. The aim is to describe the dimensional structure of

pathological personality traits according to the ICD-11 model, with an emphasis on the psychometric

characteristics of the Anankastia and Disinhibition dimensions.
