How do female athletes negotiate gender and body in relation to multiple subject positions,
such as those associated with gender, sexuality, race, and the type of sport played? The
singularity of the other, based on the Theory of Subjectivity by González Rey, opens the
possibility in Sport Psychology to explore the theme of the female body configured in the
subjective experience of participating in high-performance Paralympic sport. In this way, we
can consider sport and bodily practices as spaces of resistance and transgression, where the
subjectively produced sporting experience translates into a form of affirmation of female
participation. Using the constructive-interpretative method, the case study of outstanding
Colombian high-performance Paralympic athletes will facilitate the construction of alternative
forms of knowledge production based on singularity and empathic dialogue. Sport could be
configured as a multidimensional field, which also reinforces the reproduction of behavioral
patterns on the concept of what a woman ‘should be’ – in addition to an aesthetically modeled
body based on normality-. The research would allow us to reflect on the processes of reinterpretation 

of the sporting experience in which the productions of the order of subjectivity
