SUMMARY:

Dating violence is a complex and multi-determined phenomenon, which causes serious damage and a lot of suffering to those involved, and can also be a prelude to later violence in marital relationships. Studies in the area indicate high incidence and prevalence rates among adolescents and young people – around 80 to 90% of both victimization (when violence is suffered) and perpetration (when some form of violence is practiced). In this way, the development and evaluation of interventions aimed at preventing violence in the dating context are of great urgency. Interventions in an online format can be an effective and wide-reaching alternative to deal with young people and adolescents, due to their familiarity with new technologies. The present work aims to present the usability evaluation research of a customized online intervention, destined for the prevention of violence in the intimate relationships of young people and adolescents, called SOS Dating. For this purpose, this qualification project is divided into: introduction; justification; main goal; specific objectives; thesis structure; timeline; references; and attachments.
