SUMMARY:

The present work emerges from the strength of a word whose birth source is in the extreme north of Goiás – today, also, southeast of Tocantins. A region once known as the corridor of misery, on the border between Campos Belos and Arraias, we walk paths of geopoetry in their territorial and word cultivation. In line with the pioneering geopoet Jose Godoy Garcia (1972), there are several paths that make us think in liminal Brazils far from the coastal space, with the cultural representations of a literature that is still in formation. According to Augusto Silva Junior (2018), these manifestations of "niemar" (never-sea, far from the coast, denying overseas colonization) the geopoetry is constituted by a literature of field and of the countryside. In this specific case, marked for all that is associated with the memory of the Cerratense way of life, inhabitant of the lands bathed by the Paranã River and its tributaries – Itiquira, Corrente and Maranhão rivers. Also presents itself as the territory of quilombola communities, such as the Kalunga quilombola people (Teresina de Goiás, Cavalcante, Monte Alegre, in Goiás and Mimoso, in Tocantins). Conceived, therefore, from the unfolding of geopoetry, this literary theory that seeks to traverse and propagate the voices and the way of writing of the people. People who resist, distant from the hegemonic and historical discourse of Brazilian culture. There are artistic expressions marked by their own language and symbols and that allow us to think about the construction of a corridor of the cerradeiro geopoetry (as said by Kalunga people about a type of bull from the region). Thus, with the aim of knowing this word artist from his cultural memory, his vocalities, traditions and beliefs, we went through the transits of the poet from Goiás settled in Tocantins, Jose Sebastião Pinheiro. In order to represent his affective relationship with land, manifested from the gaze casted on the landscapes and passages that make up his hometown and also for the people who constitute it, his writing crosses paths, wilderness and inhospitable areas; corridors, small cities and capitals. Theoretically, we adopted the concept of narrator/storyteller (geopoet) thought by Benjamin (1994), according to which it is his interaction with the listener that is marked by orality, figures of speech, interdiscursivity, as well as other facts related to the human condition. Such characteristics confer fullness and everyday life to geopoetry, considering that this expansion movement is typical of the narrator of the experience, always remembered by Benjamin. In the use of bibliographic research, in line with literary analysis, our study is guided by the ideals of authors such as: Adorno (2008), Bakhtin (2009), Bosi (2000), Candido (1995), and Silva Jr. (2018). Furthermore, in the movement of the poet's displacement, we put on stage the space and territoriality in which geopoetry is configured between borders and liminalities. Thus, regarding the association of the production of writing in verses, songs and popular rhythms that translate the most common and oral realities, it is therefore verified in Tião Pinheiro's production, a "toada" from the countryside, of someone who seeks his characters and strophes from the idea of a sensitive world. In the corridor of misery and its paths: everything is the raw material for production in word.
