Abstract: The present study focuses on training and emancipation: an analysis of the percep-tion of Guinean students in university degrees of the international integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony. I tried to analyze the perception and emancipatory dimension of Guine-an students of the teacher training process offered, in terms of pedagogical quality and future usefulness in their country, in particular, Guineans who had training experience on the campus based in the State of Ceará in the municipalities of Redenção and Acarape at the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB). It discusses training, the growing demand of Guineans for training abroad, the emancipatory and transforming sense in the individual and collective dimension for their country as a form of contribution and social recognition. The research has as theoretical and methodological positioning the qualitative method and will count on the participation of Guinean students trained and in higher educa-tion in this institution. To obtain the data, bibliographical analysis and interviews will be used in order to understand the students' perceptions about training, use and the meaning of train-ing from employees, as well as the expectations of understanding to what extent training gen-erates transformation and emancipation.
